I had an opportunity to return to Baltimore for the Women’s 5k. Which meant I would get to visit one of my favorite restaurants, The Blue Moon. My daughter and I anticipated a wait for an open table. So after a 45 minute wait, we excitedly obtained a table. The excitement quickly faded! First, they don’t offer menus. You can view it on line, if you have your phone. Second, the waitress was extremely loud and obnoxious. Third, I really don’t care what other people have ordered; the waitress would announce to the top of her lungs what other customers were being served. Fourth the food was just plain lousy. Finally an automatic 20% tip for tab over $50.00. And a breakfast for two will definitely be over that. I’m an excellent tipper 22% - 25%. But this was the first time, I walked away thinking 20% was extremely generous. Will not return or recommend this restaurant.

Great breakfast, super fun atmosphere, very attentive staff. Come hungry, the Sin rolls are as big as your head. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Baltimore!
This is an exceptional place for breakfast which should not be missed. The cinnamon bun is amazing, the french toast must be tried as must anything with crabs in it. The wait can be over an hour, but is often less than the time stated as a lot of people give up on waiting (rookie mistake). Queue is shorter earlier in my experience.
My friends and I really enjoyed this spot. We all enjoyed our breakfasts and coffee. We ordered the buttermilk hashbrown pancakes... mine was topped with sauteed vegies and hot sauce. I know, it sounds so weird, and I wasn't sure what to expect either, but it was so good!! We all highly recommend this meal (and the coffee). Enjoy :)
Excellent. Parking is a pain.
Capncrunch French toast was amazing great hash browns had to park a block or so away overall a good experience I would go back
OUTSTANDING.
Excellent breakfast.
Went on a weekday so less of a wait. I imagine it gets remarkably crowded.
We waited about 20 minutes for a table but found a nice spot outside to pass the time
4 stars because the famous cinnamon roll is NOT a traditional cinnamon roll. It is a biscuit with cinnamon sugar and icing that they call a cinnamon roll- very disappointing when you think your getting a light fluffy gooey dough but instead get a bread crumble biscuit
Amazing food and decor! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the opportunity to visit with the owner, she was absolutely one of the coolest people! We also purchased some art right off the wall!

I called to ask about gluten-free items so I could place an online order. The woman I spoke to was incredibly dismissive and rude and ended up hanging up on me. This is a restaurant. People have food allergies. Do better. Lost my business.
Consistently good food and service. Unique dishes that are served to keep you coming back.

Great atmosphere only downfall is that it's a small restaurant there's definitely a wait time so not sure or what's the best time to get there, not to have a wait but well worth it...
Vegetarian options: Peanut butter and jelly French toast if you a lover of PBJ you'll definitely love this...
Cheese grits were very good along with bacon...scrambled eggs was ok
They serve water in plastic cups that's a downside but other than that good breakfast restaurant..One main thing if more than one is going make sure everyone is there if not they'll skip over you and have you wait until your entire guest are there...

The very nice woman at the counter was super friendly and had a ton of energy and just really gave the whole experience a really good vibe. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. They have the best hot cocoa and cinnamon buns I have ever tasted. The sandwich I got was so flavorful and so big I could not finish it. Thankfully, they have takeout boxes so I was able to take it with me. I highly recommend going here for an afternoon lunch
