⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely legendary breakfast spot.
If you’re in Baltimore and you don’t stop at Blue Moon Cafe, you’re doing it wrong.
The food was flat-out incredible. I ordered a dish literally called “Sweet Baby Jesus”—and listen, I usually say that phrase after eating something so good I have to thank the Good Lord above. But no… this dish earns the name on sight and on bite.
Sweet Baby Jesus is the alpha and omega of breakfast foods. Period. Rich, indulgent, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable. One bite and you get it.
We also ordered the Captain Crunch French toast and the chocolate chip pancakes, and they were absolutely amazing. Not just delicious, but beautifully plated—you can tell real care and time went into how everything was prepared and presented. That extra attention shows.
Service was great, atmosphere was fun, and the food? Next-level comfort done right.
Do yourself a favor: drop by this place. I promise—you will not regret it. 🔥🥞☕

I went to pick up my food and it was delicious. I usually take photos but by time I thought about it the food was gone. I plan to sit in one day. Overall great food and I was welcomed upon walking in even though I was not there to dine in.

This is one of the best brunch spots I have been to. I absolutely love this place! They have several menu items that are fun and unique that you probably haven’t had anywhere else. I have only tried the captain crunch French toast as my unique thing, but OOMGG it is addictive. I must have ordered it five times now 🤣. The staff is always more the pleasant and their food overall is amazing quality. Just be prepared especially on weekends to wait a while because their lines do get very long!

Went for the first time this morning, absolutely delicious!! Our server was lively and attentive. With it being a weekday at around 8:30a, there were available tables, but I have heard it gets busy on the weekend, and with good reason!
The menu is fun and bright! An eccentric take on classics!
I got biscuits and sausage gravy, which were amazing. The gravy is made in house and the portion size is generous.
My wife got the Pina Colada French Toast and was blown away. Beautiful, thick slices of French toast topped with Caramelized bananas and pineapple. Our friend who isn’t into breakfast even wanted to try it and said it was delicious!
This spot will definitely make our list of places to eat again.

I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes in the wet cold there was no waiting area. When my table was ready i suddenly was seated they didnt take my number it seems they forgot and then just magically remembered by seeing me and had to do a quick fix im not sure of the algorithm. Then i was seated with another couple in a ultimatum that was lose lose. When people past me they brushed their bodies on mine, i was uncomfortable i dissaociated through my meal because the couple i sat with was nauseating and if it wasnt for my mother i wouldnt of paid(she wasnt there).

You'll wait, but it's worth it!! The wait staff is friendly and funny. Cinnamon rolls are huge and fresh. The captain crunch french toast is so good. The pink colata french toast is a vacation on a plate and the sweet baby Jesus is a savory delight!

I tried the eggs benedict with crab cake and hash browns ($30!). It was delicious, well made and very fulfilling. The rest of the menu was overpriced for basically bacon and eggs. The atmosphere is a bit too dark for breakfast.

Outside decor doesn't judge it's food. Food was good and came out fast. Kept it simple with an omelet will try the captain crunch next time.
