Blue Pit BBQ & Whiskey Bar

Honestly, i think this place has gone downhill, it was not the best bbq to begin with in the area. I ordered food to go, immediately when i looked at the meat it looked old and dry like a day old or even more bbq. The brisket was decent, the ribs trash, hard and zero flavor and tough.. i will throw it away for sure, the best thing was the pickles. Not even wasting my time to go here anymore, will head on to 83 to get better bbq at Andy Nelsons.

Came here for BARCS art auction fundraiser which was great.. the BBQ was outstanding, amazing mac and cheese, other sides were delicious as well. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We’ve been to this location many times and always have an outstanding experience. Recently, I purchased a gift card and experienced a technical error (no fault of Blue Pit BBQ). Cara, the owner, reached out and made everything right instantly. The customer service inside and out of this location is wonderful. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Blue Pit not only has some of the Best, barbecue in Baltimore, but their staff and atmosphere are top notch!

We went to go celebrate our puppies 2 year adoption anniversary and the staff was so kind to give Maysie some unseasoned sausage and a very nice bandana. I could not recommend this place enough!

Highly recommend blue pit! They just did bbq and mac n cheese for an engagement party I helped host and it was absolutely delicious! Cara was beyond helpful and accommodated our needs and was very responsive! It was amazing and we will definitely be using them again!! Thank you!

This was an Uber order.
Food arrived cold.
Beans - cold. After microwave they were good.
Chicken - old and cold & hard. Looked like it sat out for several hours. I just threw it out. A waste.
Greens - cold, after microwave they were good.
Brisket - cold, after microwave it was fair.
Advice - go there and order. Delivery was a bad experience.

I was here for a holiday party, and I only had one drink. It was a great drink though! My kind of stout. The staff were friendly, the space was clean and the bathrooms were easy to find. Parking also wasn't an issue but it was a Sunday night.

Let's start with The best thing about the whole situation, which has to be the excellent service.
I called in my order. When I arrived The service was fast and efficient and friendly.
I wish I could say the same about the meal I was totally disappointed.I've eaten from this establishment before.
And then would have gave a five star rating across the board But it's sad to say it seems my good thing has come to an end. I had the displeasure of ordering a 3 meat combo. Which included A overly dry minced barbecue. The very end of the barbecue ri small end which was hard and dry and too hard to chew. And one rib bone And I must say this cow had to have been anorexic.
The meat was non exist had you Wrap a slice of bacon around the bone. That would have been more meat. And the award for the worst part of the meal goes to the barbecue chicken leg i ordered. So if I was accurately describing the portion, I would have to say it was a Cornish hen lay quarter.
So small, they gave you 3. It was so small. You can put it on a necklace and wear it as a medallion it was so small. My niece could use it in her doll house

Blue Pit is amazing, not only as a restaurant, but also as a caterer. They provided all the food and drinks for my wedding last month and did an incredible job. Everyone loved the BBQ. I also received great feedback on the specialty cocktails. Cara is wonderful to work with. Incredibly responsive and goes the extra mile to make sure all aspects of your event are covered. I'm so glad we chose Blue Pit for our wedding, and that we can continue to enjoy this local gem on a regular basis.

This was a pleasant surprise to enjoy some bbq and whiskey in my hometown. The slushie cocktails were delicious and that brisket was bomb. For more inclusivity I think some lower seats should available on the first floor.
