The resturant in DC on Rhode Island had a bug crawling. on floor.

The service from my bartender was wonderful, however they overpriced you with no prices on the menu. I paid almost 40 for two drinks.

We were served with flimsy paper plates, small plastic forks and tough calamari. I was hesitant to go in the front door looked like it has not been washed in months. It appears the owners go to Family Dollar to get there supplies. I will spend my money where I get better value.

Overall food was good. My table got the waiter that had a few negative remarks on Google, but he didn't give us an issue. Just forgot to give us a few items, but nothing major. Keep up the good work!

First time eating here, the house flavor is ok kinda bland, (mild) potatoes weren't cut so the absorbed no flavor, tbh nothing but the crabs soaked in the sauce, the shrimp taste like the were cooked separately, def were sautéed but the buttery flavor. Def gotta do better with the flavor and mussels were a little overcooked, but a good fill on everything and crabs were great. Hope they improve in their technique

Food was good. Bathroom had a trash can to lock the stall. It also took forever to get to go boxes. I saw trash under my table on the floor and near the window facing the parking lot. Very ghetto.. Couldn't wait to get back to VA. Left a 2 buck to but I truly shouldn't have done that🤐😬🫣

The food at this restaurant was average, with no complaints on that end. My problem was with my waiter, Fernando. He wasn’t knowledgeable about the menu or the prices. When we received our ticket, we noticed that they charge gratuity, which is fine for a group of six. Our party consisted of four adults, a four-year-old, and an infant child. Fernando claimed that we were charged for six guests because I had ordered water for my infant. I’ve never been to a place where a one-year-old was charged for entry or a part of the party. When it came to gratuity, Fernando was reluctant to remove the infant from the ticket until I spoke to a manager who fixed it for me. Fernando had a really bad attitude about the whole situation, which was an easy and simple fix. He also charged us full price for happy hour drinks, but the manager took care of that as well. Overall, the food was decent, and the atmosphere was decent, but the service was really bad due to Fernando’s attitude.

My family of 5 went here to celebrate my son’s graduation, he wanted a seafood boil. Let’s start by saying the water they serve is disgusting and it taste like faucet water, it was nothing fresh about it. Do better! The seafood boil was good but my husband’s salad was missing tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, and croutons like requested. The chicken they added on top was not grilled chicken, it was crispy chicken tenders. He asked for ranch dressing with his salad and 2 extra eggs inside his shrimp boil. He didn’t receive neither. The waiter we had who is also the manager name is Lee. Before he left our table my husband informed him of what was missing, and asked for utensils so he could eat his salad. Lee said okay with an attitude and never came back to our table. My husband had to get up and ask another waitress for what he needed. Her name was Capri, and she was super sweet and professional. Although she was swamped with her tables she still made sure we had all we needed, including napkins. After we finished our food we patiently waited for Lee to come to check on us and bring us our check. That never happened so again we asked Capri as she walked pass. She brought us our check and once I pulled my card out Lee came dashing to my table. Saying “Hi I didn’t charge you for your beers.” I took my card back and I said okay but I laughed like seriously 2 beers after the service we just received. Now the bill is at $250 because he added gratuity of $35 and said we had a party of 6. I said sir you see 5 people here and even if it were 6 people how dare you charge a $35 gratuity fee when you did absolutely nothing you were suppose to do, Capri did your job. I requested for him to remove the gratuity, he said okay. Then came back and asked if he could give Capri the gratuity. Absolutely not, remove the gratuity because the service was for 5 people not 6. He removed it because he knew he was wrong. However, I did cash app Capri her tip of $20 because she did come help and bring us what we needed. Lee should not be the manager of anything involving customer service and food. Not to mention the table next to us order was messed up as well. I would only visit this place again if he’s not my waiter because he turned me completely off. He called the police on an employee because she told him he needed to fix his attitude, he was nasty with all the customers. Rushed our orders cut us off in the middle of our sentences to tell him what we wanted. He’s rude and if this business want regular customers to continue to come to this establishment, get rid of rude and unprofessional people like him.

Melody gave me the worst service she made us pay for which this as never happened before when i be here few times with my family and she made me feel uncomfortable
I firstly ate at Boom Boom Crab 5/21/25. Initially I was seated at a booth which had used napkins on the floor where I was seated. The windows were grimey as I looked out of them where I was sitting. The whiting I ordered was fried with Cajun fries. The fries were great, but the fish tasted like it had been sitting around too long or was an old piece of fish. I took it home and tried to do something with it. Nothing helped. Won’t be going there anymore nor referring anyone to that restaurant. Needs work.
