Very bad food taste!I never thought I would write such a review for this place. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the fells point area. They had good pizzas and wings. I think they recently made changes to their menus and ordering process. I ordered 4 wings today ($10 for 4 wings). It took them almost an hour to give me the wings. They had an issue with their electric oven (btw I think nowadays they don't use the brick oven that much). I understand this can happen. So no complaints about that. But what happened to the food quality. The wings I got are the worst wings I've tried in years. I always loved their wings but they lost their old touch. I also think this is happening with other menus as well. The money receipt had a message for me. If I give them 5 star ratings then I can win a free pizza. Are they trying to trick the customers to get a good rating? I'm sorry. You guys need to improve on the taste first. Please go back to your old way of making food. Before that it's not even 1 star rating.
Slow serviceThey served 10-12 people that arrived later than me. Waited double the time others didQuite a disappointmentThe good thing is that the pizza was quite good
My partner and I stopped in for what we thought would be just a quick simple slice of pizza after a long day of walking around exploring the harbor. Zion and his team gave us a warm welcome & let us know about an alfredo deep dish that was about to come out. We were intrigued by that as well as a large slice of cheese pizza. Both were absolutely incredible! Zion continued checking in with us & asking for any & all feedback, you could tell he has passion in what he does & wants to ensure everyone enjoys it. Next time your in the area, stop by & check him out!
The most delicious pizza I've had!! I recommend the 4 cheese brick oven pizza!!!! It is so unique and delicious! We thanks Zion, the person who create for us that great pizza!!! He also recommended to add pesto and arugula, and that was wonderful!!! We will definitely come back anytime. Thanks!
It really pains me to leave this review. I truly hope it helps more than it hurts. I have been eating at BOP for nearly 17 years. It’s my go to spot every time I’m in town. I don’t know what has happened lately, but the last few times I’ve been, it’s been really bad. The pizza isn’t the same, something has been left out my order every time. Most recently it was fries. The prices have gone through the roof. I understand that prices are going up everywhere, but these price increases are insane. There is no more fountain drinks, and the canned and bottled sodas are insanely expensive. I think like $3.50 for a can, and 6 or 7 dollars for a 20oz bottle. I really wish this place would go back to the way it used to be.
My friend and I went here last night, after hanging out at Power Plant. The pizza slices were big, and very good. Also, the owner threw in a pastry for free, so I got a cinnamon roll, which was also very big, and tasted great. I definitely will be going back. Friendly staff, and in a great location. Just a heads up, they don't take cash currently, so you will have to pay with your card.
The bathroom was atrocious, the food was pricey and the gyro literally had two slices of meat. I was not happy. My wife liked her bbq chicken pizza.
Found a bug in my salad on the fork as I was abt to eat it…..glad they forgot my dressing or else I would’ve ate it. My pizza was good!
3 star since the pizza was very good. HOWEVER, the prices are now ridiculously HIGH!!! They call themselves Brick Oven Pizza, yet they did NOT utilize the brick oven! What kind of rip-off is that?? Paid $30.85 for an 18" pizza, PLUS $8.28 for sausage!!! That is just highway robbery!! I can buy 2.45lb of sausage for $8.28. Absolutely the LAST time we frequent this place. It's such a shame, as we have been patronizing this place for many years.
Good pizza, BUT their prices are just sky-high. Charged me $39.23 for an 18" pizza with sausage. The upcharge for the sausage was $8.28!! That is absolutely crazy!! They call themselves Brick Oven Pizza, but they did not bake it in the brick oven. This place is now just unacceptable in their operations. It's so very sad, as I visited this place often in the last decades. I will NOT be returning.

A great find with a Groupon. A salad, pasta and meatballs and a garlic roll made for a full meal. Friendly informal eatery with great window seats in Fells.
Customer service was good and they have a great location, that's how they got the 1 star. But you're really here for the review of the food and the Pizza was TERRIBLE. $15 bucks for 2 slices of pizza, one plain slice and one 4-cheese slice. Frozen pizza may be better. The plain was worse than the 4-cheese slice, and that's the more basic option. I wanted to turn around as soon as I saw them displayed (because it didn't look appetizing) but I was talked into giving it a chance. I may be bias cause I'm from the NY/NJ area, but even the $1 slice pizza there is Holy compared to this (and that's after a few drinks). If you still wanna go, good luck.
They have some really unique pizza toppings and flavors. I ordered the crab dip pizza and it was excellent. My only warning is that it is a dense pizza, so that means that you need to be hungry. Also, my girlfriend ordered pizza with the cauliflower crust option. She said that the crust was pretty solid and that it had a good flavor. We would definitely order from them again.
The location is nice in a great area and it was easy to walk to but the pizza was disappointing. It's very overpriced. We paid almost $40 for a couple of personal size 10" pizzas and they were not very good. The "chicken pesto" pizza tasted like it had frozen fried chicken nuggets on top. The crust was dry and overall just kind of bland.
Seems their business practices are suspect. Friday evening after leaving Max’s Belgian Festival three of us went to get some pizza. We ordered one pie and we’re taken by surprise at the price. $54 after tax. A friend of our ordered a pie to go and immediately complained about the price, to which they immediately changed the price. After thinking about this more I checked the Slice app. In the app the same pizza was <$24. Upon contacting BOP they stated this was a promotion. There are two reasons that I don’t believe this. First upon complaint they changed the price of my friend’s pizza. Second, the other member of our group had his review deleted. The pizza was good. Which is why this managed to be a two star review. Fairly confident I won’t be coming back. I’ve been going here since the mid-90s too.
