We absolutely loved the bagels and house made lox!

This small bagel shop does it right! They make bagels and even cure lox in house. Ice coffee here is perfectly brewed and not at all bitter. They have a large breakfast menu for a small restaurant. The only down side is they have a small section to order from and you need to wait outside for your order. Great food and friendly people!

I went in because the store was running a promotional event with WYPR; and I left with a really good bagel sandwich and six bagels to eat at home (an assortment).Everything was good and everyone who worked there was helpful and happy to educate me with regard to what they make and what they are working towards making. This is a Baltimore small business that I will frequent, regularly.

I am devastated. I'm from NYC and recently moved to Baltimore so you know I gotta find a good bagel. I've looked and simply couldn't find a good bagel in Baltimore. Dejected I simply came to the conclusion I wasnt going to ever find a good bagel here. Which is fine. I can live. But I just moved to Waverly and saw Bottoms Up Bagels. I thought to try them just to get it out of the way. It's just gonna be another sad, boring, Baltimore bagel situation.I couldn't have been more wrong. These bagels are so good. They advertise NJ style and they deliver. Woe to me. Woe to my wallet and my waist line. Woe because now I'm gonna be eating here all the time. How dare you provide me with beautiful and delicious bagels and a great variety of spreads.5 stars definitely coming back

Was seriously craving carbs per usual, but specifically a bagel. Figured I'd try this place since it's been on my list. It was a beautiful day so I was amped and to see how nicely painted the building was from the outside made me even more excited. Due to ongoing COVID protocols, they have one entryway open for ordering. Walked up confidently and was disappointed that they ran out of Onion bagels and didn't have non-pork bacon. Opted for just a toasted Everything Bagel with cream cheese and was asked to wait in the super cute courtyard. The bagel was also a little disappointing. It was slightly toasted yet rather gummy. Maybe it was just an off one but I didn't get beyond a couple small bites. I got there towards the end of operating hours which likely contributed to me not getting my first choices. Perhaps it also had something to do with the taste. Either way, I need to make an effort to go closer to opening time. There are far too many 5 star reviews to not give them another try.

This is a review of their pop up visit to Cohoes, NY. I was a bit skeptical about driving an hour each way to pick up bagels and lox driven up from Maryland. Wow, I was glad I did. The bagels toasted up nicely, the smoked jalepenio cream cheese was heavenly, and the house smoked salmon was delightful. The only problem is that the "lots of lox" package was half the size of what I really wanted. I guess next time I'll order 2. Thank you for bringing exceptional appetizing to upstate NY! Come back soon.

Really liked the bagels the first day right out of the bag. Well priced. They are on the small side which is fine. They have the proper chewy texture. Great flavor assortment. They were vastly best fresh and untoasted. The green onion cream cheese was fine. Did not love the whitefish spread, it was very thin. The "kick a*** lox did not live up to its name. It was sliced very nicely and pretty but was pretty flavorless. It reminded me of sashimi more than lox. Maybe their variations that I see on social media like the beet lox is better? This almost needed more salt which is wild for a cured fish product. It just lacked any of the flavor I'd expect from lox. Our bagel options are non existent in the city so it is worth checking out with some caveats: Eat the bagels the first day and as soon as purchased as possible! Normally fresh bagels are good toasted the next day (and even the day after that) but that was not true with these bagels. I'm assuming we weren't sold day old bagels but they weren't great even six hrs after we bought them. We stored them properly and know bagels! Get get your bagels and plainer spreads here and source your lox elsewhere. Even Costco has better lox.

Amazing bagels. We love the Jocus Pocus and our “faux Po” (just different cream cheese). Joanne and Michelle are some of the sweetest people. If you order online before 2pm on certain days, they will deliver your order to you within Baltimore City.

Lots of variety and friendly service, I got the she-ra which is one of their more expensive items and it wasn't poorly made just under seasoned so it tasted a little bland.

Visited during covid and they handled the protocols and safety so very well. Great bagels, we even took some home back to South Carolina.

Me and my partner are locals and regulars, this is our FAVORITE bagel place! My partner is such a picky eater but has a special love for breakfast foods, and this is what he craves all the time. I love the bagel selection and the curry chicken salad is so good. My partner always gets a bacon and egg on old bay bagel (no cheese lol), but the old bay bagels sell out fast for good reason. We've also gotten bagels in bulk from them in the past and that was a fantastic decision.I am trans, so the trans positive artwork on the window makes us both smile. Recently, my partner went there and mentioned his "fiance" (spoiler, it's me) and they said "fiance?! last time he was just boyfriend!". Anyway, he came home and immediately was like "WE HAVE TO LEAVE THEM A GOOD REVIEW, THEY REMEMBER ME!!" so that was cute. Thanks Bottoms Up Bagels! :)

So good! Perfectly chewy, and crispy bottoms. The cream cheese tastes very fresh and flavorful, and the house made lox is amazing. My fav bagel in Baltimore I've had!
