First time being here. A little hangry so the food was delicious for me. Got the garlic parm chicken tenders (which were nicely sized). Side buffalo and ranch and the seasoned fries. I’m only 120lbs and age almost all of it. A couple fries left to go but oh so very filling and satisfying.

I used to be a loyal customer of BRD and visited almost once a week, but I hadn’t been in for several months. Unfortunately, after today’s experience, I will not be returning.

My husband, our 3-year-old child, and I were served a cold chicken sandwich and cold fries. BRD no longer offers American cheese and now uses provolone; however, the chicken was so cold that the cheese did not melt at all. If the chicken had been freshly prepared, the heat alone would have softened the cheese.

More concerning, our fries were completely cold. This is unacceptable, especially when serving food to a young child. My husband politely approached the counter to request fresh fries, and we were told they could not make fresh fries and do not offer refunds once food is picked up—despite the food being served cold. We were seated only two tables away from the counter, so there was no delay on our end.

When I asked for an email address to contact the owner or general manager, the staff dismissively pointed to a sign rather than assisting us. The lack of accountability, customer service, and basic food quality standards was extremely disappointing.

Due to this experience, I will not be returning or recommending BRD to others.

I used to love it … never going back again!!!

Today I went to the shop to pick up lunch during lunchtime. There was absolutely no one waiting and no orders being made. However, it took 25 minutes for the people behind the counter. Who were just standing around, enjoying taking their bosses money and doing exactly 0 work.

Eventually, they handed me sloppily prepared bag with the mess in the picture below. I took three bites and it was just awful … not vaguely resembling the sandwich BRD has become famous for serving.

I ordered a Uber eats. What I didn't like is the packaging was thrown in and messy. That was sauce on the side of the wrappings. They need to do a better way of packing to go orders like in a box instead of wrappers. It was a turn off like Taco Bell or Checkers packing. That's where the bad news ends because the food was great. We ordered a buffalo bird sandwich and sweet chili bread sandwich a side of fries. The chicken itself was a large size probably breast meat. Chicken with thick and juicy and very flavorful. For a sandwich like this they need a sturdier bread to the bread might have had even been there. The fries were crispy and very tasty

(Interpret this as a 4.5 star review)
Let me preface this whole review by saying that BRD is one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants of all time. I now live in Long Island while she is in DC for med school and I still will stop by sometimes to grab food for her as its bordering on a family tradition at this point due to the times we went here while undergrads at JHU. The tenders are the best I have ever had and I really love the value proposition of the BRD box. The fries as well when fresh are top tier. Overall I am trying to make the point that the food was, and mostly still is, excellent. That being said in the past year there have been some dips in quality. The bread went from being covered in this buttery seasoned layer to being hard and far less flavorful which is a significant dissapointment and it seems that the portion sizes for the fries have gone down despite prices increasing by a dollar. So overall I do love BRD and it will forever hold a special place in my memory of life in Baltimore but some of the recent changes are dissapointing.

The long waiting time is why this place no longer tastes the same, I would expect it permanently closed in a year if you continue hire incompetent serving.

The fries are seasoned perfectly and the chicken is so good.

Their chicken used to be incredible - flavorful, crisp, and generous portions. They must have changed what chicken they used because when we got it 2 months ago, the chicken looked like a fast food chain patty and it was mushy. Really disappointing, because they used to be so great. Probably won't come back here.

Like eating a ball of mush. Used to be awesome- great buns, crispy chicken, great flavor. Bun was soggy and less than a 1/4” thick. Chicken was mushy inside and out. Flavor not great. What happened?

Got the Nashville Sandwich and it was moist tender and crunchy, better than Chic Filet chicken sandwiches. Fries were decent.

Just Ordered the spicy chicken box and wish I hadn’t
I just feels like Paprika and Cheyenne dumped on it.
Worse part is I couldn’t return it for something else.
