Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

Bubba Gump is a cool theme, but the energy was really low for a Friday night. The food was alright, the portions were definitely a little smaller as expected from a semi-chain restaurant. Overall, the experience was okay. Would hope to see some more energy if I go again.

As soon as we walked in, you could tell they were having staffing issues...just like every other eatery. Limited menu..food was good. The person seating guests was also our waiter. She was super friendly and on top everything.

Waitress was sitting at table eating not serving the customers. Food was horrible.

Don't bother!! Not an experience I'd wish to repeat. Booked at 12.30 for daughters birthday. Arrived early, storen not even open. When open, told to wait with many others in a cramped " gift shop" area which was filling up. Finally asked to go upstairs to be seated. Could barely hear what attender said. Ordered food. After half an hour drinks finally came, but he forgot one. Hour after ordering appetisers finally came. Then waited almost another hour, whilst watching others getting their food. At this point we questioned one if the staff as to where our food was, only to be told our waiter hadn't even ordered it!! So two hours and just a starter. We left! Ruined daughters birthday and wasted our long journey and cash getting there and our day. We then had to find elsewhere to eat so couldn't do the other things had planned. Staff walk round miserable looking, shuffling along.No organisation etc. Needs a shake up! Seen lots of repeated issues on Facebook page, some weeks back. So why have they nit addressed the issues?

I really wanted this place to be great but honestly this restaurant looks like it won’t survive Covid. The people working were super nice. The food was not nearly as nice. Crab dip was blander cold, and the shrimp Mac and Cheese tasted like the shrimp weren’t fully cooked. My son’s hamburger and fries were fine but my crab cake sandwich was cold and bite sized. Our server was honestly the bright spot of the visit. If you’re from out of town I’d honestly skip it unless you feel like giving to charity.

Very fun restaurant in a great location in the Inner Harbour. Service was quick and friendly. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. Still a worthwhile place to visit, especially if you are a Forrest Gump fan!

Poor food quality, it is a tourist trap using the name from movie to get customers. Shrimp, fish and hush puppies were frozen, not fresh. Shrimp skewers were good. Had to ask for napkins, salt and our check. Very expensive.

Waited 45 minutes after placing order, had to leave to catch bus so no food. The restaurant was not crowded so not sure why the slow service

Well food is boom it is pricey is like from 13-35 bucks a plate but it is good.. and a good place to enjoy a good family or business and chill.

Great job of serving up great food. We enjoyed it immensely. Nice selection of different types of food and attentive staff to detail. Could not be happier. Everyone the girls in my group really enjoyed it! We will definitely be going back here!

I’m not even sure what to say. Our dinner was good..the food was good. Our waitress was good. We ordered drinks from the bar…beer for hubby & a Long Island iced tea for me…they were good. We were full at the end of our meal, so we just asked for the check. She brought the check & took our card; then it kinda went off the rails. A ROACH crawled across our table. My husband swatted it away and paid the bill. I did make a point of speaking to the 2 young ladies at the check-in stand…just to let them know about our 6-legged visitor. We did not ask for a discount or any other consideration. Our food was good, and the experience was good…up until the roach appeared.

Great food for sure. Great ambience!

Food was good (3 stars) and service was a (4 stars). Menu was consolidated sadly and they were short on staff but that is unfortunately a product of the market that we're in.
