Let me just tell you - amazing! I had the butter pecan because that's my thing and it was so good. If you like ice cream and donuts then this is the place for you. Tons of flavors/toppings to choose from. The store is nicely decorated and the employees were very professional and friendly. They used clean gloves when assembling your chimney cake - which is important to me. My kids had the oreo which was great and hubby loved the banana pudding.
We stumbled upon this gem after visiting the MD science center. We were greeted so nicely and immediately guided through the menu items. It was clean and decorated so quaint. That was our first time trying a chimney cake and it was delicious!! We’ll be back, very warm atmosphere.

After walking by Buns & Roses multiple times and always wishing it was dessert time, we finally made it happen today and were rewarded with a uniquely delicious dessert and very friendly, welcoming service.As you might have guessed, the chimney cones themselves are the star of the show here and appear to be handcrafted with great attention to detail, with a marshmallow at the bottom to keep all the ice cream from dripping out.We definitely want to come back again - I would like to try the coated chimney cakes next time, and the apple dumpling sounds great, too.The owner/employees here are welcoming to everyone who comes by and very clearly care about their customers.

The concept is interesting. The staff describe it as a Hungarian donut filled with ice cream. It also has marshmallows in the bottom of the donut portion so that the ice cream doesn’t fall out. The staff were not very excited or even working until we walked into the shop. The flavors are limited to the 9 on the menu, but the end product was pretty tasty.

So glad I sought this out while in Baltimore. Really, Buns and Roses just screams, "come check me out." What a cute little atmosphere and such friendly service. I had never heard of a chimney cake before so I had to be adventurous. So worth the hour or two I'll be on the treadmill later ???. I ended up getting the OhSocookie and a Taro Unicorn latte. Absolutely delightful. Made me feel like a kid again with the edible butterfly. Such attention to detail is refreshing.

Great concept for a dessert. The ice cream cone was delicious, but the soft serve ice cream wasn't very creamy. For the high-end price they're charging, it should be less for the cheap ice cream you get. Honestly, the ice cream was the most disappointing part of the whole thing. If they put real ice cream and/or custard on it, that would be a game changer and a 5-Star for sure.

Decided I'd suprise my daughter with a sweet treat today so i took her to a local black owned business i knew she'd love. The cleanliness and asthetic of this place caught my eye as soon as we walked in the front door. Everything was pretty in pink and super cute. I purchased the banana pudding chimney cake and another for my daughter. They were both so good AND WORTH EVERY PENNY (super affordable btw) I can't wait to go back!!! Buns and roses has a customer for life ♡

I am obsessed with this place, I think I tell everyone about these chimney cakes and I've only had 2 flavors! Very cute spot, classically cute! Like it should be the backdrop for a teen hangout in a movie or tv show! This place needs the Keith Lee effect, they deserve all the business and support of the city! Place is a gem!
