About a 2-2.5: Butter Cup Bakery is a bakery located inside the Lexington Market, and they have various breads, pastries, and buns. There was quite a line when we were roaming around, and we decided to join in and purchase a few items. We had the sticky bun and the nut roll - I'm thinking if you go earlier in the morning or when they open, these would be more fresh and more fluffier; the ones we received were definitely sticky, but more on the dry end.Staff were efficient and moved the line along; it seems as if this place is a favorite with the locals, as we saw many who placed large orders to go.Located inside the Lexington Market.+go earlier for more fresh pastries+located inside the Lexington Market

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I placed an order from Grubhub. And nearly an hour later I'm told they didn't have the cupcakes I ordered. All I ordered was three items. When I asked my Grubhub driver if I could speak to someone at the business, they refused. Very unprofessional! Just to be clear, it's not the Grubhub driver's fault, it's the fault of this cupcake place. They have lots a selections to choose from the on Grubhub app. But my driver told me all they had was only three or four choices at the place. Just ridiculous! And to put the icing on the cake, I tried calling the actual number on google and the number they have online is disconnected!

Great little place inside the market. I had the marble cake and it was both tasty & moist. Just $1 a piece! Was amazed. The lady at the counter was very helpful as well.

Sticky bun, sticky bun, sticky bun. Come here and just get the sticky bun it is so good. This is a real good homestyle bakery and the sticky buns are just like mom made. They have a huge arrangement of baked goods, all of which were tempting but the one item stands out for sure. A lot of people came to buy the bread this last time I was there, so maybe that's something to try too, however I don't eat much carbs and enjoy the occasional sinful treat. This is a stop at the market that you have to do. We took some to go as well and they were still great the next day.

There are a few gems inside Lexington Market, and Butter Cup Bakery is one of them. They specialize on pastries and have quite the assortment to pick from. I spoke with the lady that runs this vendor stall and found her to be friendly and sweet. I RECOMMEND: Sticky Buns: Fingerlickin' good! The buns had a great crust on the outside and were fluffy in the middle. Each bun is topped with a sweet and sticky glaze and a coating of pecans, while spirals of cinnamon-sugar grace the middle. Nut Rolls: Just as sticky and tasty! These are similar to the sticky buns, differing mainly in shape. Aside from the ring of cinnamon-sugar in the middle, plump raisins add extra sweetness and texture. Like the sticky buns, these rolls I received were from a fresh batch. If you're looking for a sweet treat after chowing down at Faidley's or elsewhere inside Lexington Market, I'd say Butter Cup Bakery is a solid option.
