I was really craving a cheesesteak wrap and had seen cafe 1908’s on social media a few times so decided to check it out. First, the positive: wrap was tasty-well-seasoned, cheesy, ingredients were proportionate to each other and the wrap was toasted, which I appreciate. My food was not hot when I got it, which is odd because I had to wait for them to package it up. The portion sizes were less than average for both my meal and dessert- most places at least provide plenty of fries, but the wrap and the fries seemed stingy to me. They also seem to upcharge for everything! An upcharge for mayo? C’mon. An upcharge for cheese on a cheesesteak wrap?? Silly.
The banana pudding-which I expect a black-owned business to do justice to like no one else-was AWFUL! It’s literally just banana-flavored pudding in a container with a few nilla wafers on top, no whipped cream, no BANANAS, nothing, like WHAT!? Real banana pudding uses vanilla pudding, and preferably not a vile, artificial tasting version, has plenty of cookies and banana slices and hopefully some whipped cream. It’s crazy work that they’re charging $9 for some instant jello pudding.
I might go back because the wrap was delicious, but at these prices, they need to step up the portion sizes and be consistent on quality.

I really wanted to like Cafe 1908 because the concept is creative and the menu has a lot of variety. Unfortunately, I’ve had two bad DoorDash experiences.
The first time, my cheesesteak wrap was clearly mixed with fish and beef. The taste and smell were so off that I couldn’t eat it. I assumed it was a one-time mistake and decided to give them another chance because of the positive reviews.
The second order was just as disappointing. I received a shrimp wrap, and the shrimp tasted like old grease and was so hard and rubbery I couldn’t chew it. I threw it away immediately.
The food is too expensive for this level of quality and inconsistency. With prices the way they are, spending on takeout is a splurge, so it’s disappointing to receive food that seems old or incorrectly prepared. I hope they improve their quality control because the concept has a lot of potential.

I haven’t been inside of Cafe 1908 I always order through door dash I always order the Fried Catfish sandwich and the jerk chicken tacos but today I decided to order something different I ordered jerk chicken cheese steak and wow 10/10 it puts Philly cheese steaks to shame 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the flavors and spice excellent the food never disappoints 🥰

It was decent, and I don’t have any real complaints. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because there was an eyelash on my wrap, which is gross, but I’m honestly not sure how they could’ve avoided something like that. 🥹 The food was good though. Also, DoorDash doesn’t give many customization options and there’s no space to leave comments/special requests. I had to choose between “no tomatoes” (I’m allergic) or adding mayo for 50 cents 😭😭😭 so I had to go with no mayo lol.

We ordered our food today 1/3/26 through your google website, where hours of operation was until 2am. Ordered my food at 8:32pm, paid and arrived at 9:01pm, for the cook to be on the phone, cleaning up to close and ignoring our order we paid for!!! To yell through the kitchen he was “closed”. I eat here often and order through this app. If your hours of operation had changed you should update your site! Paid for food and NO FOOD! This is not how this business should start the New Year!

Ran across this restaurant by Chance with my sister a month ago right around Thanksgiving when she was visiting from San Francisco. We got a salmon burger with a salmon cake shrimp on top of cheese, lettuce tomatoes on a hamburger roll. Since that time I had purchased this four times. They don’t have it often so I always ask when I call for the salmon BURGER, If you sell something, you should know what it is when a customer calls for it. I get home and I have something completely different than what I’ve ever had. I called the store back and he’s then tells me basically I’m crazy and I ordered something I never knew existed.!! My toast account is connected to this restaurant and I’ve always ordered the same thing. I’m gonna try to post it so people can see that I’m not crazy. He don’t know his job or know what he sells. A Caucasian restaurant would have said ma’am I’m sorry for the error. How can we fix it. Not tell me I know what you ordered and that’s it. That’s all.

I order this for the first time on 12/15/25, through DoorDash. I wanted something different, hoping this would satisfy my palate. Shall I add, it had my palate jumping happily with EVERY bite, no lying here. Cafe 1908, I had to order again, tonight, 12/22/25. When I like something, I'll keep ordering, until I have a taste for something different, or it no longer is making my palate jump for joy; Like the first ever bite. Keep up the good work, and you'll Always have me, as a happy customer🙂.

Now grant it we did order late, but on DoorDash we still had 40 minutes to order! Something came but it wasn’t what we ordered. Store employees told door dash driver they can’t make us the food we ordered because it’s too late… never asked us what we wanted in replace. Sends us one out of three meals we ordered, than closes store . Wow
I’ve never seen so many slow and incompetent people in my life. Food is never hot and slow as they are it should be.

I have used door dash and I have physically gone here to order THE FOOD IS SLAMMING every single time!! I don't know what they do to those fries you don't need ketchup and they still good even cold the next day so you know when they hot its amazing!!! THE FOOD IS GOOD GO HERE!!!! Oh and they cook fast and give you a lot. They give you a whole pack of crackers with their seafood salad! The jerk chicken wrap is my favorite!!!

The food was amazing however the Jerk tacos were unbearably HOT like spicy nose dripping it feels like I did a hot chip chilling.
