I love the food but I’m writing this review solely because the seafood salad is so inconsistent. Sometimes It’s really good with bigger, fresher tasting shrimp, a better krab, and seasoned well , and others it’s the complete opposite and not worth the money at all. If I’m paying $11 or $19, I want to know it’s going to be the good one

Jerk chicken cheese steak is my go to, it’s great 9/10.

This place is totally OVER PRICED. And Everything is a wrap. So there is no "sandwich" so to speak. I got 2 sandwiches and a drink and it came up to $50. For what the charge the portion should be much bigger than what it is. I think they gave me a handful of fries I even counted them and there was 15 in total. The drink I got which I think is a specialist signature drink was $10 and it was horrible as it had a lot of ginger in it. I thought they were all lemonade just different flavors but I was wrong. The lemonade was $3.75 but this drink I got was $10. For the prices they charge for just the sandwich and fries they need to throw in a water or something. I was visiting from DC and a friend was talking about how good the food was. I'm not sure how much longer they will survive in the city with these prices. On another note I had some of the seafood salad which was $11 for small containers and it was really good.

Parking: Depending on the time you go you may have to park and walk

I love the food, but the portions are bigger in the pictures they show online. My catfish was small. I had three small pieces of broccoli and I don’t like the rice. It’s basic. I never had a problem before. Will continue going.

I was calling my good in some young lady said hold on I held on and started to walk towards the venue and the lady was just sittin in a chair on her phone most likely on social media while I was on hold waiting to order my food then another person called while I’m still on hold she spoke to them then finally clicked over to me 9mins later that’s bad service I had her in speaker phone so when she finally said hello she would hear her self then I explain to her what she did wrong

I told the girl on the phone what I wanted on my crab cake sandwich and they still put extra stuff on it anyway .. then my crab cake tasted like a burnt pan so I ended up not finishing it. The food used to be A1 here now it just taste different .. I don’t like it …the fries taste like it been sitting all day and they just gave it to me .. it was cold and crispy.

I recently had a disappointing experience with the customer service at Café 1908. I ordered a chopped turkey wrap, but after driving away, I realized I had received the wrong order—a turkey burger. I wasn’t upset and simply wanted to resolve the issue, but since I had already waited 40 minutes for my food and had to return to work, I decided to call instead. When I asked what time they closed, the person who answered was extremely rude, repeatedly yelling, “What did you get? What did you get?” I calmly explained that I had received a turkey burger instead of my wrap and just wanted to know their closing time so I could come back later. Instead of assisting me, she continued speaking with an aggressive tone and then abruptly told me, “Come back at 11,” before hanging up. When I called back, she ignored my call, and about 10 minutes later, another young lady finally answered. However, customer service is essential.
I understand that work can be frustrating, but as a customer, I was simply looking forward to a good meal on my lunch break, only to be met with unnecessary hostility. My experience at Café 1908 was unacceptable, and I hope they address this issue because customer service truly makes all the difference. Even if I had checked my food then in there, it still would’ve been disappointed because I had no time to wait after waiting 40 minutes for one meal.

Parking: Not to mention Trying to find parking, during lunchtime is a nightmare!

Food is never consistent. If you order on a Saturday the food is good but during the week the food doesn’t taste as good sometimes. I wish they were more consistent.

On Jan 17, 2025, I arrived at this restaurant and ordered several items for my family. I'm new to the area and I stopped by on the way to my home. The young lady who worked at the counter seen me and didn't acknowledge me as she stood on the phone before having to ask for service. Upon ordering my food, I waited approximately 15 mins. When I arrived home which is a 5 min walk, I've noticed my Cajun seafood bowl was cold to the touch. (The outside temp did not contribute to my food temp). My cheesesteak fries were decent, but my BBQ jerk wings was crispy on the outside but again cold on the inside. Honestly, I do not know if the waiter who took my order has done this to me on purpose, but no customer should be presented with service and food like this. I hate to slam a restaurant but other people who plan to come here deserve to hear what I went through.

Made an order through door dash with specific instructions on my meals. My reciept shows that my custom order was placed correctly but the establishment totally negated my order and made it the way they wanted to. Had to call doordash for a refund because me and another party that had food on the order that was incorrect . On top of that my food was cold on delivery.

The young lady service was good but the food is not like it used to be or maybe it the cook my cheese steak wrap had more wrap then steak and my jerk chicken wrap had more bones then chicken never had a chicken wrap with bones 🤔 very disappointed after a long day at work and hungry I was definitely disappointed and I hate to leave a bad review but that was a bad food experience

I'm really big on customer service. I've had their food before and it was great. Yesterday my daughter and I walked in. I wanted a wrap and fries soooo bad. We walked in and I instantly got annoyed. Not one employee acknowledged us. They were standing there cursing talking loud. I stood there for a min and walked out. My daughter got Chipotle and I went to Grille-Twelve24. I offer CSR classes. Do better. Nothing more important than supporting your own. A greeting is key in maintaining business.

Went there last night with my daughters, and we *loved* EVERYTHING … and let me tell you, that’s a big deal because, honestly, we collectively hate everyone’s food 😬😭😭 Reasonable prices, family atmosphere, attention to detail… you’re definitely getting the full Keith Lee treatment!
