This WAS one of my favorite neighborhood cafes in downtown Baltimore. I went to purchase my breakfast this morning and was met with what seemed like passive aggressive racism by the lack of enthusiasm and display of attitude by the cashier/barista who got frustrated because their card machine was malfunctioning, as well as me simply being black...I guess. I spent $40 on my breakfast which is just a drop in the bucket of the amount of money that I spend there. I am so sorry that this happened because I really loved this place but I refuse to patronize a business that displays blatant racism to their loyal, paying customers.

My salad was very good, crisp and refreshing...but my wrap was below average. The cafe is quaint. I'd go again to give it another shot. The Lentil soup was calling my name.

I really love this place. The food is always amazing. The Greek salad is so good. The humus is amazing. The wraps are on point. The drinks are really good as well. The baklava was of course excellent as well! The food is just so good, and the customer service is great. Everyone that worked there is very nice, friendly, and helpful if you have any questions. Beautiful location as well. A gem in Mount Vernon for sure. Would suggest to anyone!

Cafe Fili was really good. Cozy, casual vibe with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The coffee and café dishes were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Service was attentive and warm. Perfect spot for a relaxed coffee or casual meal.

Well priced baklava that’s not overcooked, I tried all 3 and surprisingly enjoyed them. I come from a long line of Greek women that bake and cook wonderfully. I liked their different offerings of food presentations that I’m not used to, it was delightfully refreshing.

I cannot speak for all the food here. I come specifically for the smoked salmon. The preparation of the plate is excellent. I enjoy my experience there and I found it by accident looking for other options after a gym workout. The staff is excellent as well. Highly recommend.
