Caribbean food is so hard to find made well in this area -- to no surprise given how far away the Caribbean is. This is the first Caribbean restaurant which I enjoyed, and I've tried most in the state I'd wager. It's homemade soul food that can be healthy (if you select the right sidesđ). Pricing and value is outstanding. Unfortunately, Baltimore doesn't lend itself to the best atmosphere though, but what are you going to do đđ.
Food was really good & tasteful.
Decent food but the prices are ridiculous.
Cash only. Staff is rude but food was great
The food is absolutely delicious here and reasonably priced for the quality and serving size. Service is always friendly, and the woman who's usually taking the orders is super sweet. Just a heads-up, this is not a dine-in place, as the lobby is quite small. Also, they are cash only, but there's a Wells Fargo across the street.

If I carried cash with me more often I would be in here everyday. I havenât visited in a few years but had cash on me today and decided to stop by. Their food is still so good and fresh and the service is phenomenal. If you want authentic Caribbean food at an affordable price, look no further!

This is my third time grabbing carry out and itâs always SO good! The food is fresh! The food is alwayyysss fresh!!! The curry does not taste as if it was sitting all day and you can find the same freshness with the oxtail and stew chicken as well. As you can see from this pic the string beans are definitely freshly picked and not caked with a whole bunch of unnecessary garlic salt. The flavor of the curry is flavorful and the spicy/heat is just right. The ladies ask if you would like light, medium, or heavy gravy once you are ready for pick up which I truly appreciate. The staff is SUPER friendly. (Medium gravy with a large curry chicken and 2 sides is whatâs pictured here) After three visits, I can honestly say this is much better than Golden Krust and Tashaâs. Mi belly nah run me either so thatâs also a plus?
I recommend calling beforehand and it is cash only. If you forget to grab cash there is a Wells Fargo Bank right in front of the shop. You can park either on the side street or right in front of the store with ease.
Parking: You can park directly in the front or on the side street that hugs the restaurant.

This place is trash. The cabbage is blend never seasoned. The portion are overrated for the price you pay. Most important they never wanna answer the phone when trying to place an order. And the sister of the owner who works mainly in the back is Always rude/short.I tried 3 times thinking it would get better. Nothing has changed. Will never ? give them another dollar ?

The food is delicious here. I usually get the large jerk and curry chicken platters. I love the portions and the price. Glad I found this gem.

Based on the high ratings/decent reviews, I was expecting the food to be great. The oxtails were ok, nothing special. The cabbage was bland and barely cooked. The macaroni was dry, boxed mac n cheese. We never received our plantains. When I called to place the order, the lady was a little flippant on the phone when I inquired about methods of payment. I proceeded with the order though, thinking the food may still be good and wanting to give them a chance. For what we received for 2 platters totally over $40...let's just say we won't be returning.

I have to be honest, the food was abysmal. I donât like being negative, and this was only my personal experience.
Judging by the 4.4 star rating, it couldâve just been an off-day for the restaurant
Pros:
The customer service was great and they were very friendly.
The jerk chicken was pretty good
Cons: the stewed chicken had 0 flavor. The max and cheese had very little cheese/little flavor (see picture below). The plantain was VERY chewy (almost leathery) and had no salt or sweetness
