Very kind and fun staff. Unique sage latte was really good, too. Would recommend! Got it iced and with oat milk.

Truly a great spot. We had the burrito which we were going to share and ended up ordering two. Coffee was amazing and if you can afford the calories the chocolate cookie is amazing as well

Very swanky coffee and tea shop. The instrumental music and hip patrons made the vibes. I ordered the classico vegano with vegan sausage on ciabatta and a matcha oat latte. The matcha oat latte had just enough sweetener (you have to ask for it). The classico vegano was good as well. The staff was very delightful and pleasant. They knew their customers and although they had a rush they handled it with ease and remained calm and pleasant. The price was reasonable for what I received and to have the opportunity to dine-in. Overall, this is a great place to visit alone or couples for a nice cup of java or tea.

Best vegan breakfast food in the city and possibly anywhere. Excellent breakfast sandwiches with multiple options. Veganito Burrito, available exclusively on weekends, is worth driving a good distance for. Other menu items are all great; never had a bad thing here. Pricy for sure, but it’s hard not to give them all my money. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-09

Great breakfast and lunch place with many options to choose from

It is a nice place, but the mocha latte was so gross and bitter I had to spit out the few sips I took, also pricey almost 9$ for a small latte.

My grandmother and I stopped by Catalan Coffee in Hampden and once again we were both delighted, especially by their mushroom bánh mì sandwich. Honestly, I think it is the best vegan bánh mì in Baltimore.

My grandmother found it a little spicy but I loved the bold layered flavors. The crisp cucumbers, fresh mint, crunchy carrots, savory mushrooms, and perfectly crusty bread come together beautifully with their flavorful house made sauce. The jalapeños add a lively kick on top of the sauce’s existing spice but it is balanced enough to keep you going back for another bite. I will say the portion felt smaller than the first time I had it. The first was generously stacked while this time was noticeably lighter but still delicious.

The café itself is cozy and welcoming with a staff that is warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about their drinks. My grandmother enjoyed her black tea with honey while I went for the blueberry lemonade. It was vibrant, tangy, and full of flavor. I usually order it without ice but this time a little ice helped soften its intensity without taking away from its brightness.

Catalan Coffee is truly a hidden gem in Hampden and I cannot wait to return to explore more of the menu.

This is a great coffee shop on Hampden main street, making it a perfect spot for students looking for a change of scenery. Their huge storefront window allows lots of natural light, and there's plenty of indoor seating. Outlets are somewhat hard to reach, so make sure to come fully charged. The coffee was good but somewhat pricey. Definitely worth multiple visits.

No clue why i hadn’t reviewed catalog. I thought i did, but i didn’t. It is definitely a one of the better sandwich/coffee spots in north baltimore. it is worth your time to visit. I’ve been a few times and love it everytime. The only drawback is that it is so good it does get crowded. BTW i had one of the burritos this week for the first time. Absolute banger. I highly recommend them. Everything is spot on delicious!

Rude and not small dog friendly. I walked in carrying my small dog to get a drink out of the cooler, pay and walk back out. I was yelled at. I walked out and won't be going back!

Top tier. Great food, great service. Knowledgeable and friendly. The staff seemed like they really enjoyed their job. Will definitely be back.

The coffee is decent, the atmosphere/space is lively and spacious, the food is good...it is a little too pricey. For $46 we got a small chai, large iced coffee (should not be 10 bucks) and 2 breakfast sandwiches. I've been to dozens of coffee shops in the Baltimore area and I felt it was too pricey. I did like their breakfast sandwich selection, everything was tasty and put together nicely. The staff are very friendly and it's a large space to accommodate a large crowd.

First off… this place is so in tune with the Hampden vibe! The staff here are incredibly friendly and inviting. It feels like a home at the holidays- full of friends and good energy! I had the “What the Kitchen Eats” sandwich and then a cappuccino. The sandwich was phenomenal, the flavor was out of this world. Make sure you grab a napkin! Cappuccino was delicious! This is the kind of place you can just melt into and not even realize hours have passed! I will absolutely be back every chance I get!

This is a really nice coffee house. It can be very busy at times, and a little bit expensive. My visit was early on a Sunday morning, and a line quickly formed after the doors opened. In warmer weather, it looks as though there are garage type doors on the front that can be opened up for a nice breeze.
