Best bar in Fell’s Point!
Bands are great, Guinness is cold, and service is excellent. Would note that sometimes the cover is cash only, if going to see a band. My new favorite bar in Baltimore!

This is one of the greatest music bars in the world!! You will never see a bad band here. Thick with history, this Baltimore landmark is a best bet any night of the week. Music starts early on Saturday and Sunday. NO OBNOXIOUS TVS in you face..just a few if you need to peak at the game.

This was my second time at this bar, and I’d like to share my impressions. The bar is set in a large townhouse-style space with a spacious patio. You can ask for almost any drink, and they’ll have it ready in no time. The staff are friendly and deliver your drinks prontissimo!!
The bar attracts a wonderfully mixed crowd, which I found especially interesting. In the U.S., it’s rare to find bars where younger and older generations truly mingle. At the Cat’s Eye, you’ll find people of all ages socializing, happy, and full of good energy.
The live music is excellent. One night I enjoyed a jazz band; another time, a different band was playing country and pop/rock. Each visit felt fresh and entertaining.
The highlight of my night was meeting the bar’s owner, Tony. He treats his guests with genuine kindness, pays close attention to everyone he serves, and greets people with a warm smile.
I was staying at The Pendry across the street. While its bar looks impressive, the drinks and service were disappointing, to put it mildly. In contrast, the Cat’s Eye felt like a genuine treat. The level of service here is comparable to the Four Seasons hotel bar or the Emirates A380 onboard lounge—and that impressed even a snob like me. 🙂
I live in DC, and I’m already planning to return to this gem—a truly unique bar with great character and top-notch entertainment.

The venue itself is a great mix of old and new.
