The average customer that shops here is rude and disrespectful. The staff and owners try but they can't control the atmosphere. I guess they can't control the rats all around the building either.
Unless your African and like to eat and smell cooked goat I would avoid. Seedy dark atmosphere. Not a young people bar or college bar at all. In fact hazelwood used to be the white bar and CB's the black one. Now though there's not even enough whites around there to fill a bar and I don't blame them for leaving. The crime and drugs is high around there especially at night.
7 day license. I infrequently come here, when on that side of town. Reasonable price & adequate selection. Quick "in and out" spot when a small purchase is sufficient.
