We had the chocolate raspberry cake delivered for our wedding. It was both beautiful and delicious!

We got the passion fruit cake in a jar…the cake was dry and the frosting was overly greasy (to much butter) and tasted like artificial passion fruit. I know Duff would definitely have cut this baker if it had been on TV.

Dry basic cupcake. Found out they aren’t even fresh. Over rated. Sprinkles is 1000 times better. No area to even sit. Save yourself and skip this place

I was so excited to come here. Have watched Duff for years! Unfortunately, I was so disappointed in the cupcakes. The frosting, however, was wonderful. Smooth and silky. I bought a dozen (for $50) in a variety of flavors as well as two jar cakes. The cakes are all the same flavor, either a yellow cake or a chocolate cake. They were really dry and crumbly. The different flavors were the frosting. Passion fruit cupcake was yellow cake with a passion fruit frosting. Espresso was a dark chocolate cake with Espresso frosting and so on. Had such high hopes for the product of my favorite bakery star.

We stopped by charm city cakes after we went to the aquarium. I picked up 5 cupcakes and 2 cookies. The chocolate base of my cupcakes tasted like a Costco chocolate muffin. Kinda dry and simple flavor. The icing on my cupcakes were buttery and light but not that flavorful. The espresso icing had the most flavor. The 2 chocolate chip cookies I got tasted a day or 2 old. The flavor was good but the cookie was basically crumbling, I was hoping for a softer texture. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return here but I think it’s still worth trying. The cashier was very nice though!

So disappointed, cupcakes were stale but buttercream was awesome!!
Absolutely amazing!!! Loved that I could come and see the beautiful cakes on display and take pictures! Also loved the chocolate espresso cupcakes recommended. The cake jars were also good and very reasonable price for what we got.
One of us really enjoyed the cupcakes. Both cake jars were not pleasing and disappointing. Would not go again
If the cookies were any thinner, they’d disappear😩 good cookies bad cakes.
Enjoyed our visit and loaded up on cakes in a jar! Derrick, the retail manager, was professional, polite, and knowledgeable! Will definitely be back!

Always love stopping by for good treats and great customer
Amazing! Recently got two of their Space Odyssey cakes for a work event and it was a big hit. Both the chocolate and red velvet were delicious.
Very disappointed…the bakery was lackluster. Bought 3 cakes in a jar. Opened and tried the first one…frosting was tasteless and waxy. Cake was dry and crumbly. Won’t go back again.
Great experience at Ace of Cakes. Saw where they make their masterpieces. Tried their cupcakes and cake in a jar. Everything was great.

We took our granddaughter who is (8) here for a cake decorating class. She loves the Kids Baking Champion Show with Duff and we thought she would love the opportunity to do the class at Charm City Cakes, and we were right. Although at first she was a little nervous, the kind and friendly staff made her feel at ease and she absolutely loved the whole experience. From the kind gentleman at the front desk to the young lady teaching them the steps to decorate her Christmas Present cake, they were all wonderful. Our granddaughter is already asking when she can return. Thank you Charm City Cakes for a Wonderful Time.
