Update: Wver since my last review, I've had only fantastic times at Charmed Kitchen. Great food and drinks and service. Online ordering has been simple and easy. Love the rotating crop of art on the wall. It's great that they open early and close late.*Initial review: Walked in and was not acknowledged. Eventualy sat down. Waiter did not take my order but took other patron's orders who arrived after me. Left without ordering. Would not come back or recommend. Very disappointing.*

Nice cozy spot right next to Patterson Park, worth going to after visiting the park. Black bean burger and chicken salad were tasty!

The service is always friendly, helpful, and swift. 10/10Perfect lunch spot, not usually packed around 12-3Thursdays you get a one cent ale/wine with a purchase of wingsBaltimore buffalo is seasoned well, with the right amount of spice in the buffalo. Top 5 ranch that I’ve had with wings. 8.5/10Fries have a thick skin and are usually fried to perfection. Good quantity of fries come in a basket, and all the food usually comes out piping hot. Dipping Sauces are the perfect size. 10/10The sandwich I got was packed with protein (Italian style). Kind of wished it was a little easier to consume, and had more wet ingredients so it’s not just bread and meat, but tasty nonetheless. 7/10The vibe in this place is unmatched! Nothing but positive things to say about my experiences here.. I want to try their brunch soon!

Went to this cafe to have a tea and do some homework. The barista took a very long time to come out from the back, and when I later asked for the wifi he very rudely let me know that there is no public wifi at the cafe… would not recommend.

I mean …… idk this wasn’t like any omlette I’ve seen before it’s more like a burrito with cheese a gang of veggies n 2 strips of bacon lol it was overly stuffed w veggies but the latte WONDERFUL I don’t think they cook the omlette in a skillet tho wouldn’t recommend for an omlette but the sandwich n latte and potatoes amazing!

I have been going to Charmed for 3 years now, it is less than a block from my house and it is so nice to have a nearby coffee shop and I come frequently (morning espresso and a breakfast sandwich are my standbys, both generally are pretty tasty although quality of sandwich is variable).I'm sad to write this review, but there are just too many things that I cannot overlook any longer. This morning was my last visit to Charmed, I just can't justify the incremental price-gouging and the lack of value for the money any longer. I usually get a glass of soda water from the soda gun with my espresso, but they have started charging $3.60 per glass of soda water. The food can be tasty but EVERYTHING is served on single-serve, throw-away trays with waxed paper, and condiments like salt, pepper and hot sauce are all dispensed in little packets, fast-food style. It's just not pleasant to eat an omelet off a plastic tray with waxed paper, the paper gets wet and dissolves and mixes in with the food, and I am paying $13 for this?I'd hate to see the amount of waste that this business generates through exclusive use of single-use paper and plastic, talk about a carbon footprint! And really makes for an unpleasant dining experience.Bottom line, I hope the owner makes some changes, this could be a really wonderful neighborhood spot, but for now I will be walking a little further to a business that cares a little more for the customer experience, and the environment.

Very good maryland crab soup here. Calamari was seasoned to perfection.Choice of free water or getting something to drink. Also sell sweets, wine, candles, beer, and mocktails here.Breakfast, lunch & dinner menus.Very updated rustic feel.I'll definetly frequent here more often.Enjoyed this experience very much. Staff is friendly and awesome.

Really fabulous place that combines the best of two worlds: coffee shop + bar. An amazing dirty chai and croissant! Also it was dog friendly!! At least to to go orderers which is so helpful. The only thing that could have given it more points would have been a mug and a plate instead of a single use cup and bag.Check this place out if you have not!!!

20 minutes for a latte that tasted stale - threw it away. Unfortunate because the food was good.
