Awsome place to visit, the beer was so cold. great food
COMBAT VETERANS KICKED OUT. for Resting my head on the bar for 20 seconds. Was kicked out of the restaurant because I was stretching my neck. I Rested my I had on the bar for 20 seconds.
Is this how two combat veterans are treated. I do not drink and nothing matured. We were sumerrly Thrown out. There were 6 people in the entire place.
NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY. THIS BAR TENDER NEEDS TO REPRIMANDED OR FIRED.
Friendly staff, great beer and atmosphere!
Cool atmosphere.
Did not like the jean quad. Kolsh was fine.
Fun place.
We did tasters of many beers, the bartender was very friendly. Every tasting was excellent except the sour but I don’t like sours! Very tasty beer and they tasted unique. Well worth a visit
This place is great. Very spacious with beautiful interior design. The food is decent with a somewhat small menu. The selection of beer on tap and in a can are varied nicely. I love that you can put together your own 16 oz 4 pack for a slightly lower price than it would be for each can. Events that are happening here are definitely worth going to.
Checkerspot Brewing is such a standout in Baltimore! Their craft beers are always top-notch, creative, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and you can feel the passion the team puts into every detail. Whether you’re a longtime local or new to the city, this is the perfect spot to relax, try something new, and enjoy the community vibe. As a realtor, I love pointing clients to Checkerspot as one of the must-visit breweries that make Baltimore so special. 🍻🌟

Awesome spot for good beers before Ravens game

Checkerspot Brewing should not be marketing a beer that explicitly makes fun of millions of Americans who trace their heritage to the Southern/Appalachian region. The term “Hillbilly” has long been identified as a derogatory term used to promote untrue stereotypes about Southern/Appalachian people. Imagine if the company promoted a beer with similarly offensive imagery about Jewish, black or Latino Americans. The company should cease all promotions and sales of this product. For more information on why such imagery is so offensive, see Billings, Dwight B.; Norman, Gurney; Ledford, Katherine (2000). Back Talk from Appalachia: Confronting Stereotypes. University Press of Kentucky. ISBN 978-0813143347. 31 July 2014.
A neat little spot with stage for performances and plenty of space. Big glass windows allow you to see the production area and the bar has nice pictures and descriptions of what's on tap.
This place has great vibes, lots of nice details, gluten free beers, kid & dog friendly, but the food option is overpriced and bad quality.
Great beer! Great selection! Beautiful location!Would highly recommend! 🍺
One of my favorite local breweries! Juniperus IPA for the win! Such depth in their beers with a huge variety always on tap! And an added bonus woman owed/head brewer! Judy and Rob have really done something special here!
