I've been going to Chiaparelli's for 40 years now and this meal was just as good as they've always been. The Chip salad is one of my go-to dishes. The bread is freshly-baked, crusty and light, and honestly, the service couldn't be more attentive. When I first started going, my favorite dish was Mama Chiaparelli's ravioli. It's now called Grandma's Ravioli (ha) and it's still my favorite. The red sauce is so unctuous and smooth, the raviolis are filled with spinach and cheese - it's just one of the most satisfying meals I've ever had. It was very quiet when we visited - but I've been there when it's been bustling. We were there on a weekday afternoon so that might have contributed to the quiet - which was perfect for us. We'll go back again and again anytime we're in Baltimore. It's just an institution - and one we're gladly committed to.
We love the lounge area for dining. This area is a delight and you can actually have a conversation because the music is just in the background. Old fashioned service.
True Italian food with great service. 10 out 10 I would recommend.
Relaxing environment with exposed brick walls and Frank Sinatra crooning in the background. Delicious food, abundant portions, wonderful waitress; found nearby parking quickly.
A classic Italian restaurant. Food was great and so was the service with a fun waitress. We haven't been there for a while, but will be back soon
After a 6 hr drive dreaming of authentic Italian, we were delighted. Chicken parm, chicken piccata, salad, and mozzarella squares A ++. Cold table bread without EVOO, parm, and rosemarry, not so much. Also a B- on the tiramisu which lacked flavor. Service and atmosphere, A +.
Beautiful place with great service and great food.
Good Italian place in Baltimore. Service was very good, and I liked the antipasto and chicken parmesan dishes in particular, along with their house salad. While I'm not from the area, I'd make a point to check this place out again the next time I'm in Baltimore.
Was seated in the far back corner near the side entrance, at the edge of the bar so didn't get to see the gleaming lights of the main dining room until the end.
Tried the arancini and Tour of Chiapparelli. The lasagna was a bit salty for my taste but overall, it was good.. Friendly service. Large portion , and boy they really kept the bread basket coming if you let them. 😊
Best salad ever.

We always come for special occasions, and we're always impressed! Best house salad in the city and the seafood ravioli is AMAZING! Absolutely a gem of a restaurant!
Great wine, outstanding mussels, and really - I could eat their salad every single day of my life. I've been coming to Chiapparelli's since I was a little girl (all of Tony's drawings we got back then now belong to me) and it's as good as I remember.
Our experience wasnt the best, the lasagna noodles were extremely thick and pasty, no meat, just blah. Pesto penny, looked like the sauce was tinted green with food coloring, and the vodka penne lacked flavor. The tortellini with prucheto and peas was excellent
My family went for my moms birthday, we had a lot of fun!! For three people, dinner and dessert was around $150 :) We will definitely be back <3
We were celebrating Mother's Day with guests from Ohio. They raved about the food and desserts. Wonderful evening!0
