I've been going to Chiaparelli's for 40 years now and this meal was just as good as they've always been. The Chip salad is one of my go-to dishes. The bread is freshly-baked, crusty and light, and honestly, the service couldn't be more attentive. When I first started going, my favorite dish was Mama Chiaparelli's ravioli. It's now called Grandma's Ravioli (ha) and it's still my favorite. The red sauce is so unctuous and smooth, the raviolis...
After a 6 hr drive dreaming of authentic Italian, we were delighted. Chicken parm, chicken piccata, salad, and mozzarella squares A ++. Cold table bread without EVOO, parm, and rosemarry, not so much. Also a B- on the tiramisu which lacked flavor. Service and atmosphere, A +.
Good Italian place in Baltimore. Service was very good, and I liked the antipasto and chicken parmesan dishes in particular, along with their house salad. While I'm not from the area, I'd make a point to check this place out again the next time I'm in Baltimore.
