Underwhelming, in one word: We ate on the bistro / more casual side, and had two pizzas, some pasta and a couple of starters. The pizza dough tasted like a brioche bread; very light and sweet, not something we would normally associate with nor desire in a pizza. The mozzarella was bland and soft, making the whole pizza experience a lot more American than Italian. The pasta sauce did not excite with its flavours, the fried artichokes were bland, too. The bruschetta tasted stale...
We dined here for the New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The service throughout the evening was good and attentive, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, there were several issues with the food. My daughter’s dirty martini was not prepared correctly, which was a disappointing start. The antipasti course was fine but unremarkable.

I hadn't been to Cinghiale in a long time (probably over a decade). The last time I went, my wife and I found it disappointing. But we went to check it out again the night before Thanksgiving. What a rebound! The food was absolutely top notch. The calamari was as good as any I've had anywhere.
