City Seeds is the best combination of great food and a great mission. They continue to bring amazing food to private customers and anchor institutions alike. Meeting needs and creating jobs on Baltimore's East Side, City Seeds is a testament to what it means to do good without sacrificing quality. If you haven't had CS food, you really do have something to look forward to.

I've used City Seeds in a number of ways - they did a great team building cooking class for my group, they catered an offsite that we did at Humanim's Brewery building, and I used them for Thanksgiving catering. The team and the food are always great. Recommend them highly!

I went to a cooking class that was educational and a ton of fun. Since then I have had 2 catered events which were amazing from appetizers through to dessert. I'm a happy repeat customer!!!

Had a great experience with City Seeds' catering for our holiday meal. Everyone loved the appetizers, main dishes and desserts. I particularly enjoyed the ham, pumpkin risotto and sweet potatoes...and I'm picky about sweet potatoes. What a bonus to appreciate both the mission and food!

Outstanding service and presentation. I ordered from the holiday menu and enjoyed such apps as blackened shrimp, smoked rockfish and crab dip.The entre of braised short ribs accompanied by colorful root veggies was absolutely delicious. The bananas Foster ice cream paired with the bourbon pecan pie was a sumptuous hit. Our order which we picked up was ready on time and packaged well. I recommend City Seeds for any function. It's the best choice for catering because it combines great, interestingly prepared food with a social mission.

Not only is City Seeds a great concept, but also executed to perfection. First class food created and provided by those who simply needed the opportunity to do so and City Seeds gave them the chance when no one else would. Food is easy to do, but difficult to do well and City Seeds surpasses all expectations. Pro tip: pumpkin risotto is the perfect combination of sweet and savory.

We had our family holiday party catered by City Seeds. Great experience from start to finish. Favorites included the pumpkin risotto, pecan crusted rockfish, bacon/Brussel sprouts and of course brown sugar mashed sweet potatoes. To top off the amazingness....homemade bananas foster ice cream with a bourbon chocolate pecan pie. Could it get any better??? YES...... we supported a catering company with a social mission!
