Maybe my best Baltimore restaurant experience in 5 years of occasionally sampling the good stuff. We just went in because it was the Sunday after Christmas and everything was closed and... completely fantastic, plate after plate. Try it. We'll certainly be back.

Fabulous spot in Canton. Unique, delicious items delivered by passionate servers in a great setting. Very comfortable yet elegant interior. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing dinner for my wife's birthday. The ambiance was great, so was the music and wine. But, really, the food and the service were the stars. We asked for recommendations and they were all pure hits! The duck confit, squash toast, mushroom tartare and octopus were all absolutely delightful. I could not recommend more!

Cute wine bar / cocktail lounge atmosphere. Great wait staff. Creative, well-executed entrees and snacks with an emphasis on local and small batch producers. And, the price point is excellent for the quality of the food and experience. I think my new favorite restaurant in Baltimore.

If you want to go on a culinary adventure with some experts in their craft, this is your next stop. Everything on the menu looked appetizing with a few ingredients peppered in that we weren't familiar with, but we needed not worry about that: the flavors all worked so well together in ways I wouldn't have considered myself. Ultimately we left it to the experts as to what we should order and it was the best decision we made! It was fun not knowing which of the dishes were going to be served next.

Heard this was a new upcoming spot so my wife and I decided to try it out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but we lucked up and grabbed a spot as someone was leaving. Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted by the bartender, given a table and asked if we wanted tap or bottled water. Our server was great. He was very attentive and kind. Took his time to explain the drink menu which I ordered a beer from a local brewery in Ellicott city. We both ordered the Roseda Farms NY strip. The server said its cooked at medium rare. I do not care for the texture of medium rare therefore for I ordered it medium. We also ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer. The appetizer came out quick along with our drinks. I enjoyed the beer and egg rolls. It complemented nicely with the decor and intimate set up of the restaurant. Everything was pretty good up to that point. The negative I can say was the steaks came out at medium rare instead of medium and they were room temp. We decided not to bring to the servers attention because we had another engagement planned. Even tho it was not cooked at the temp we asked it was still pretty good. The jam and tarragon butter complemented well on the steak. All and all and almost perfect experience. Customer service goes a long way and they have great customer service. I will be coming back to try their brunch soon.

Stop reading this review and get your butt to Coelum. This is the greatest addition to the Canton neighborhood/Baltimore food scene I've seen in some time. Why? Not only is the food creative, fresh and delicious, but the service was friendly, attentive, humorous and knowledgeable. It felt like we were eating with a friend when it was just my boyfriend and I. So there's no need to read this review beacuse you need to go to experience it. But if you want some advice, read on. First of all, this was Gitan, but feels like a more industrial Gitan with old world charm (and that great bar). Our server informed us that the previosu chef at Fork and Wrench (RIP) was the new chef at Coleum. No wonder the plating was so creative and eclectic. The menu is a one pager and only 4 main dishes with lots of plates for sharing. So fun. We did 3 small plates and split a main.. and a desert. It was perfect. We started with the portabella tartare with burrata on top. WOW. The combination of mushrooms, the horseradish yogurt, and smooth burrata. It was like a salad, but smoother? Haha we devoured this. Next game the griddled octopus which also came with microgreens, the ridiculous bacon jam and yummy smoked carrots (couldn't stop eating). It wasn't chewy at all, and mild enough to not overpower the dish.. and still taste that bacon jam. The spaghetti squash fritters were my favorite, with this marinara aioli (no it didn't just taste like mayo and marinara to my delight). Crispy on the outside, and smooth on the inside, almost like thick crackers mixed with mozzarella stick. Does that make sense? Again, my review doesn't matter, just go. Our main dish was the Duck Confit with BONE MARROW MASHED POTATOES, mixed greans and shaved foie gras. The duck was so tender, just cooked beautifully and the potatoes were tart and rich. Our only hiccup of the evening was that the mixed greens had a whiskey dressing. I don't drink (at all.. sober) and upon disclosure of this, the server immediately went back and got me a new mixed green salad on the side with a delicious non-alcoholic dressing. I was pleased, and our server didn't seem annoyed or off-put at all. It was so refreshing. After our server almost convinced us of ordering the creme brulee with foie gras, we went a bit more conservative, but not much, and ordered the Mascarpone Buttercake with poached lemon apples and smoked apple butter. Holy butter. It was divine. I cannot wait to try other items on the menu and try out their brunch. What an incredible experience!

Awesome service, awesome drinks, awesome food. There's really nothing more to be desired. The efforts of the staff do not go unnoticed, so many little touches that truly add to the experience. Everything we ordered was delicious! So excited for this gem of an addition to the neighborhood. Will be back for sure.

Went tonight for my husbands birthday: not only was the restaurant beautiful, but the service was top notch, the recommendations were on point, the drinks were fantastic, and the food: the food was one of the best meals I have ever had. I will not only return, but will absolutely tell everyone about how great this place is. Already planning my next visit! Thank you for such a great experience.

MUST GO BACK. I have been wanting to try out this new spot for a few weeks and I'm so glad I finally did! Service was excellent - relaxed and kind - which is absolutely how I want to be treated when having dinner out. The food speaks for itself. Excellent flavors and beautiful presentation. Happy hour specials are a must! We cannot wait to go back and try more from the menu. We had the cheddar and sopressata charcuterie board with the duck and scallops to follow as mains. Loved the special touches that made us feel special and valued as customers - that really sets this place apart from many of the larger restaurants in Canton/Fells. As I already said, we will be back!!

Excellent new place in the neighborhood! They have great specialty cocktails and a delicious menu. The squash toast was our favorite appetizer and the scallops were an excellent main. Highly recommend.

So glad this place opened! That's what North Canton was missing. Great wine and cocktail selection. Try the Negroni Flight. Food was perfectly executed. Octopus (so easy to mess up) was tender inside and crispy outside, with a pack of flavor coming from the corn. The shrimp croquettes, dipped in ink squid, were delicious. Save room for dessert as the options are really inviting.

Loved the decor and atmosphere right away. Recently opened and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Great food and conversation. Don't forget to try one of the many signature cocktails from the bar. Delish. Next time we will bringing friends so they can enjoy this creative local restaurant.
