I try to give every place a chance but this is easily the worst coffee shop in the city. I was served an overpriced, overheated drink prepared with possibly the most burnt and over extracted shot of espresso imaginable. The rest of the experience at this shop can be summed up by the empty case of pastries, slow WiFi, and dusty burlap bags of coffee for decoration. This is one of those sad “aesthetic” coffee shops where it’s obvious that the owners stopped caring about quality a long time ago. Learn from my experience, there are too many better options a short walk south in Mt. Vernon for anyone to consider taking a chance on Coffee Olivia.

I've been here a few times now and wish I could give a higher review. I like the location, and the interior is pretty with all the natural light. Espresso drinks have been good but not great. The energy always feel very stagnant unfortunately. Empty pasty case, tables and chairs a bit scattered, items on shelves scattered, boxes of supplies stuffed in a corner and an empty napkin dispenser on a shelf thats been there for the past year? Also, trash can was gross. I'm curious about the ownership. It seems like they have potential, but there is no soul to this place
Had a couple solid espresso drinks from here served by a kind and professional barista.
The building housing this cafe provides a great space, however it is completely underutilized and overstuffed. I want to so badly see non-chain businesses succeed in Midtown.
I am only aware of this cafe because I saw it on google maps. From the street, the only indication of the cafe is a black sign on the apartment building, facing the street. There is no pedestrian signage or inviting draw-in. This could be achieved with a sidewalk board, or even investing in outdoor seating with greenery and umbrellas. I would come here so much often if that was an option!
It’s mid-June and there are still Christmas decorations scattered on the display shelves. Boxes are shoved everywhere. There are simply too many tables and chairs for the space, making it cramped and you have to watch where you go, instead of looking up at the high ceilings, beautiful lights, and huge windows! It feels very half-assed and unpleasant to stay longer than it takes to get your drink.

Stopped by when passing through the neighborhood and am now obsessed. It’s cute and quiet inside—and they gave me the best iced vanilla latte I think I’ve ever had in Baltimore. Prices were also lower than many other coffee shops (and they don’t charge more for alternative milks!). It’s easy to miss as it sort of blends in with a bigger building, but definitely worth trying.

i don't come here often, but when i do, i always get the spanish latte - it's strong and just the right amount of sweet. the place itself is quite clean and has nice plant decor. great place to meet a friend and/or get some work done
Slow wifi

Matcha was terrible!!! I would say that if you were to come here you should get instead a tea or coffee possibly.

Removing from my “want to go list”
They have an amazing espresso machine (Slayer) but crappy dark roast beans - and the barista over steamed milk for cappuccino. Barista needs training in both craft and service. Two stars for a clean bathroom. Won’t return. Go to Ceremony. And reading owner response from another reviewer who criticized bean quality-feedback is clearly unwelcome. Please educate yourself on beans, customer service.

Beautiful shop with great coffee equipment. Awful coffee, Costco pastries, sterile service, just obviously focused on looks more than quality. Try partnering with a local roaster to take advantage of training instead of an LA based roaster. Also looks a lot like they ripped off the design from Good Neighbor. Another cafe opened by an owner that doesn’t know what they’re doing.
The coffee and service are good, but the shop lacks warmth and comfort. It's sterile and not a good place to sit and talk.
