Connie's Chicken and Waffles - Charles Plaza

All the way from Chicago and still think about this place 😩🫶🏾

Disappointed. Took forever to get my food. Didn’t have time to eat the food once my 40 minute break ended. Once I finally get my order of chicken and waffles, the worker then tells me there isn’t any syrup. How can I eat chicken & waffles w/ out syrup? And to top it off there weren’t any napkins in the bag.

Update: I came back after my review for another try. This time when I was returning to pick up my food, I saw that the girl was not wearing any gloves. She saw my reaction and guiltily put on gloves quickly before finishing up packaging my food. Her face told all. She knew she was wrong. Who knew what she was touching prior to putting the gloves on. Smh

The food was very tasty. I just wish the chicken and waffles had a crisp to them, if you know what I mean. The chicken and waffles were made to order and was delicious! The service was great. I watched that man take orders, cook, and serve all by hisself and the wait wasn't long at all. Bravo to that man. The atmosphere could have been a little better. The use of a good de-greaser would work miracles.

Worst chicken and waffles ive had. Ice tea too sweet. The first timer combo is more expensive than getting items separately. Im taking train back to DC

This establishment is not open. Connie Chicken and Waffles has been shut down by the Health Department. Do to Rodent infestation, untempered refrigerators, and one other thing pertaining to her food. Smh. No I'm not a spam. Don't lie owner. Connie Chicken and Waffles,at the Charles Plaza, was closed down by the Health Department since December. If this establishment is open now, Good for you. But don't lie,it will show through your business. AGAIN I'M Not A Spam. What I write in my reviews are very true.

Everything about this cheese steak sub was good. The steak was not over cooked or under cooked. It was seasoned just right. Xtra fried onions the bread tasted freshly baked. This sub was not very expensive, which is why I guess it wasn't what you would call overstuffed, but for the price the portion was appropriate. All in all I enjoyed the meal. The next time I'll ask for a double meat cheese steak sub. My son and I had a very good experience here. ( Get the cheese steak sub , but definitely go for the double meat.

Was stopping through the area and was very satisfied with food. they didnt have connie sauce but we had other condiments. and no napkins in bag but otherwise employee was very nice.
