Grandson visiting from out of town wanted steamed crabs. Even though it was January, Costa's came through with the best crabs. Service was great. A play-off game with his hometown team on the big screen and lots of Baltimorons cheering for his team added to the fun. Many thanks to Costa's for helping us make his visit memorable!

Although they were surprisingly VERY busy on a Thursday afternoon, service and food were great. It was a surprise that the tip of $50 was already added to the check being that it was only 2 people eating so be aware that tip may be included. We didn't mind the amount of the tip but from past experience we like to give our waiter/waitress cash which we were prepared to do. We got large male crabs because they don't serve females,we had visited before for crab cakes but first time for crabs and will be back. We also got chicken tenders and potatoe skins for appetizers. I also was pleasantly surprised that they had diet root beer 🤗

Im just gonna give them 3 star some of the food was good and some want't. Crab imperial and stuff shrimp was great. But my Crab cake was horrible couldn't finish it. Service was amazing i just cant give them a four star because of the crab cake. Which cost 35 dollars was nowhere near good.

I was very disappointed. I have been here many times for crabs and never had a problem but several weeks ago me and a girlfriend stopped in on a Saturday afternoon an ordered a dozen large males for $130. I want to start by saying that these crabs were not large , more like a medium and they were empty , at least most of them . The waiter was awesome and he addressed the issue immediately but the manager on duty didn't want to come out and talk about it , instead he delivered a message saying that the crabs weren't running good. Well , if the crabs aren't running good then you don't charge $130.00 a dozen. The medium males were $90.00 a dozen, this is a big jump in price and I bet the medium crabs were worse . The waiter contacted the night time manager and he did this on his own. That manager wanted us to return all the light crabs and have them replaced and so we did. Also, when we placed this order , it only took 15 minutes to receive our crabs . I questioned this as well because there is no way they were steamed to order . I mentioned this to the waiter and he of course relayed a message from the manager that all crabs are steamed to order. Needless to say I was very disappointed and I could had returned the crabs for my money back but I brought a friend there to have crabs , she doesn't get to do this often and it's not affordable for her to eat crabs . I didnt want to send them back and take that away from her . I have to tell you though that I felt really ripped off. I have never ever had a bad experience with Costas. They are a bit higher in price then most crab houses but this situation was just very bad business. The waiter seemed very stressed about the situation because there was absolutely no denying that these crabs were empty medium males , even the ones that were replaced Wich was about 10 crabs were not much better . Honesty is the best policy Costas . Next time I will ask to see the crabs first .

The food at Costa Inn was amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked with care. You can tell pride is put into every plate. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot on, and the service made the experience even better. This is one of those places you leave already planning your next visit.

Amazing Maryland crab soup and great fried shrimp. The crab cake is basic with more filling than I like. Great service.

Would have given them a 5 star. But directions will have you going in circles and ready to go. It's actually located in the Timonium fair ground

Come here for their crab cakes only. And they are absolutely one of the best I have had. Never disappoints. Tried other items (salmon, Reuben) always regret it. Just stop looking at any other items and get the crab cakes or crabs.

The restroom could really use a little bit of a room. It's smaller than a regular people's closet

Crab cakes are the order here. You're in Maryland, in Baltimore, and this is where the best crab cakes can be found at many restaurants including Costas Inn. Don't fool around. I always go broiled. The less alteration to the crab meat the better. They will serve you whole crabs if you have the patience. The sides are very good, not great, but this is a place for families, laughter, and sports. Have a helluva good time like we did! The wait staff is fantastic!
