A friend had never tried the food here, so I shared the experience. The Fried Pork Chops were gone almost instantly! The sautéed string beans, candied yams, and corned bread all made for a happy belly and person!! Thanks as always!
Vegetarian options: They serve delishish veggies, steamed or sautéed that are an awesome option for a vegetarian meal.
Parking: Parking is in front of the door. Several spaces are available. If it the lot is full, street parking is available.

My son used to take me there before he passed. The service was great and the food was delicious. Its been years and I just found the location and I plan to go there and visit very soon to once again to get some of their delicious Soul food.

The food has always been great at this establishment. I will not be buying food there anymore because I was told if I buy food for a woman who was hungry and always standing outside asking people for food that I would not be able to purchase any food. I am disappointed because I should be able to buy food for anybody I want to if it’s my money. The owner claims the more you buy her food then she will continue to hang around and scare other people off from coming to this establishment.

The catfish with sated vegetables and rice is delicious fresh and cooked to order. I eat from there once a week. I have had the pork chops and they are meaty and tender. The service is impeccable. That is one of my favorite places to order from. Photo coming soon

I was visiting family and did a Google search for “catfish near me”. We stumbled upon this place and the food was awesome. I hate we didn’t take pictures. The food was fresh and tasty. The tartar sauce was yellow(strange) but OLE SOOOO GOOD!
I ate chicken wings, whiting, macaroni and cheese with fries! Great food.
The location is a little confusing and the neighborhood not so great BUT Roth visiting.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or expect different when it comes to "soul food" I got the salmon cakes, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. It was not bad at all but not at all what I considered "soul food" the Mac and cheese wasn't baked and it had a cheese sauce "not real cheese", the potatoes were potatoes...the salmon cakes were okay but had potatoes inside! Like maybe as a filler something, I never in my life had potatoes inside a salmon cake ? it wasn't nasty but also wasn't what I had in mind at all. So I might have just ordered the wrong thing....
