This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks I have went to Creole soul and the food was so salty that it was inedible. I went to take it back and he basically said if your fish is too salty the other peices will be as well because that's the batter they use. I really want my money back. Never going back. So unfortunate because their food use to be good.

Ordered blackened catfish it was cold, cornbread dry tasted old, and shrimp was not cooked properly or crisp ! I wasted $75 on horrible food this establishment has truly changed!
I normally go out of my way to support black own businesses and do my best not to leave negative comments; however, because of the lack of customer service at Creole Soul, I cannot be silent.
Today, I walked up to the counter, a lady behind the counter was mixing something in a large bowl. She nodded to acknowledge my presence, then went to the back, I assume to get the person working the register. She came back alone and waited for about minute. A gentleman emerged and began to take my order, lobster Mac and Cheese with steamed shrimp. At that moment another gentleman came from the back and walked up to the register. As cashier is confirming my order, the second gentleman states, he is not doing lobster Mac and cheese because he is about to go on break.
Where they do that at? I guess, here, but not with my money. I’m officially done!
I order the gumbo not too many restaurants in Baltimore can make gumbo but this gumbo was awesome everything about it I loved

Hey , I like the macaroni and cheese at this spot but a plus was today I saw that they had a red velvet cornbread. I inquired with the guy behind the counter if the cornbread was sweet, but he told me that he didn’t know how it was. He informed me that he wouldn't know because he doesn’t taste the food. A question to the owner: how can they sell your food without at least having it tasted? That could've been an upsell because on Thursdays, I take my staff interesting treats. Probably would've bought all the red velvet cornbread. All I did was get the macaroni and cheese.

Great customer service and food. I've had the jerk salmon and grits with shrimp twice and it has been amazing each time. The banana pudding is also good.

Save your money My daughter and I went there for lunch we should have known better. The young man behind the counter looked at us after 5 minutes asked if he could help I ordered the Jambalaya and my daughter ordered catfish. When we got our food the catfish was the size of a fish stick over lots of rice the Jambalaya was lots of rice with less than a tablespoon of sausage and chicken. Chopped smaller than diced onions. The young man seemed to have an attitude problem especially when he saw no tip. A true waste of $40. I will never go there again.

R.house had plenty of great options, but the shrimp po-boy I got here is one of the best I’ve had!! Will have to try there other dishes the next time I’m in the area.
I've got high hopes that this place finds a permanent home at R House. The MoBoy sandwich was fresh with bright veggies, crispy catfish, juicy fried shrimp, and a tangy remoulade. The banana pudding could've used some fresh banana, but was exactly what I wanted it to be otherwise. Looking forward to some red velvet cornbread that I saw being prepped or some pillowy beignets suffocated in powers sugar. The whole staff was super friendly and really sold me on the place. You should go...now.

Po boy took 20 min. Cost $20. Was inedible. Stale bread. Rubbery shrimp. Terrible experience

Food is good but charging that much for this frozen Walmart salmon is crazy work. Dry and thin.
I know it’s just a side dish, but those southern greens changed my life even though there was not a collard to be found. So flavorful. I’m looking forward to trying the gumbo next time.

Tried Creole Soul for the first time yesterday. Every time I went to R House, I noticed they weren’t heavily patronized so I would just eat at other spots. Yesterday was different. Many people were waiting for food from Creole Soul so I said why not. Ordering was super easy, and the wait wasn’t long. My heavily disappointment was from the food. I order Jerk Salmon & Grits. The grits were good. The salmon was over cooked, and the jerk sauce was so overwhelming that I couldn’t taste my food. It was really hard to enjoy. I had to eat the outer edge of the grits and scoop much of the sauce off. Not traditional jerk sauce. Super disappointed.

Catfish, shrimp and grits and their Mac and cheese is awesome. Their red velvet cornbread can go well with dinner or a side of ice
