After seeing this place online and how their amazing shave treats are created I knew I had to try them out ASAP. I visited Crushed Velvet with my mom for the 1st time and we loved it! We were greeted by a sweet young lady McKenna who patiently gave us the 411 of the different flavor sundaes so we could decide on one. You can get regular shaved ice in other flavors and sizes,add toppings too.The sundaes are huge so we decided to share and get The Baltimore sundae. It has vanilla ice cream at the bottom,half skylite,half egg custard, with Marshmallow on top😋 This was so delicious! We'll definitely be regulars thru the summer and will bring and tell friends about it. If you've never been to Crushed Velvet you've gotta go cuz you won't regret it. Nice way to cool off with a treat and relax in a chill atmosphere

I stopped here today for snowballs and pizza with my son and a few of our foster pups and we had an AMAZING time. The staff was incredible. So welcoming. The atmosphere was fun. The food and snowballs were top tier. Definitely will be back very soon. Thank you so much for providing such a fun and friendly place to enjoy.

Ooh, I tried a snowball from Crushed Velvet for the first time last week, it was SO GOOD!!! I went for a classic cherry with marshmallow and it did not disappoint at all. Plus it was a gorgeous day, so it was fabulous to sit outside, and the vibes there are so super cute! They play great music and there's all kinds of fun activities, like pool and cornhole. And bonus points for having the baseball game on. I'm so stoked to hang out there again soon- next time, the B'smores is definitely calling my name! Go check them out- they're awesome!!!

I had a great experience. I got the pineapple/jalapeño flavor with coconut condensed milk. They also have pup cups which was great on a hot day for my dog. I was very surprised to see it.
The best snowballs with vibes that match! Prices are good, the shaved ice is fluffy and the flavors are amazing. Also the ladies are the sweetest people I’ve met in Baltimore!!

The service is great, it’s affordable and the owner is very king and explains everything throughout. It can be pretty quick sometimes and for the great flavor It’s totally worth it when it gets busy!!
I totally recommend adding toppings or add-ons, it boosts the flavor significantly for me!
Kid-friendliness: This place is very kid and pet friendly, the place feels lively, specially once the sun starts to set - the fairy lights give it such a nice welcoming aura that makes you want to stay.

This place is a much needed addition to the SOBO area and a place that we loved visiting 1-2x a week last year.
The options are plenty and the rotating homemade syrup flavors are phenomenal. However, the size of the cups have shrunk significantly from last year. Additionally 2 of the past 3 orders have been missing flavor in the middle of the shaved ice. I really hope this place succeeds, it's just hard to justify the roughly $20 price tag for 2 people with the smaller size/improper syrup distribution.
