My expectations were high and they still managed to exceed them! The prices were very fair as well which was a double bonus. We split a variety of plates and all were delightful. The crab pie, egg and biscuit, salmon grits were the three savery options we tried. All were amazing. I was especially impressed with the grits because I normally am very "meh" about them. But these were so flavorful and the salmon lumps added the perfect consistency. The vanilla chocolate chip cookies are a must buy. I could have easily eaten a dozen of them (as it were, we did order 1 additional to split). The other deserts we tried was the strawberry tart, sweet potato crust, and the birthday cake crust (we were pleasantly surprised that it was filled with jam). Next time we are definitely ordering all the same savory options again, the cc cookie, and will be trying the grilled PB&J as it looked amazing. The staff were so friendly and great to be around.

I've been to Crust by Mack several times now, and I'm consistently impressed with the food and friendly service! Their famous crab pie lived up to the hype, and the whipped sweet potato crustinie (and other flavors of crustinie!) are such a unique, affordable sweet treat. On my last visit, I ordered the salmon cakes and grits, which was absolutely delicious and was served in a gigantic portion size (it will last me two meals!) for a very reasonable price! I've also tried the shrimp crust and sable strawberry & vanilla bean chocolate chip cookies, all of which were amazing. And the restaurant space is incredible -- it's relaxing, open, and has spectacular views of the Inner Harbor, plus an adjoining outdoor balcony to enjoy on warm days! You must visit to experience some of the best food in Baltimore!!

I visited this place for the first time and impressed with the food and atmosphere. I ordered the broiled salmon and grits. The portion size was larger than I expected. It's now the second day and I still have yet to finish it. The service was good, good seating (I ate on their outside balcony), good prices and food. I will definitely visit again. Try this place out.

Words can’t express how amazing Crust by Mack is!!!! From the breath taking views to the cozy atmosphere and of course the DELICIOUS FOOD! I snagged a few pictures from their IG because I could not wait to try their stuff! My favorites right now: Anything they have over the cheddar grits, the All In breakfast sandwich, thee CRAB PIE and my all time favorite sweet, the vanilla bean chocolate chip cookie! I pray that this business continues to flourish because it’s so needed downtown! Everything is made with love, the staff is so friendly! I have watched them deal with a lot of ppl that are use to fast food, rushed items but this place was built to provide an amazing vibe and food made w/ love! I appreciate their transparency, their journey and involvement with community! There’s a reason for that award at the register “Best Bakery!”

Disappointing. I made a special trip into Baltimore to purchase from CRUST. When I got there during the stated business hours, there was a CRUST branded sign stating the store was closed. When I pulled off the sign, there was a notice from the health department. Even though the notice stated "do not remove," placing three sheets of paper as a mask over the notice is a violation just the same. I wasted half a day and $14 in parking fees because of SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. I don't understand why anyone needs to go to their website to receive updates on the closure, when the reason for the store being closed is right there. Trifling, deceitful, and pathetic.

Hubby brought a few items from there a few days ago(I've been wanting to try CBM for a long time) he brought Shrimp and Grits, a shrimp biscuit ( not sure if that's what it's called) a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a brown butter pecan cookie...and I'm still thinking about it lol!! Everything was delicious and fresh. That shrimp biscuit was so rich in flavor, and the shrimp and grits were still hot when I got them, and they give you plenty. I can't wait to get more. My goal is to try EVERYTHING!!
