Everything about this place is great! Everything!

Awesome pies and awesome owner. Rodney's always willing to go above and beyond for his customers. Make sure to check out the shop in Hamden or the pie valet.

The pies are amazing but there may be some quality control issues with their workers. I ordered a smog pie and instead of steak it appears the cook used pork. Yep, pork, mushroom, onion, Gruyère. Very strange. The smog is amazing but the pork mistake was pretty bad. It was $50 mistake by the cook and I have no way to correct since the pie was a gift to a family. I have ordered the smog many times. My family has had the smog pie many times and this pie was definitely pork. They probably grabbed the wrong ingredient when preparing the pie.

Got the steak and mushroom to go, opened it up at home and could easily see dough was pretty raw. Even the dough on top of the pie did not look or taste fully cooked. Super bummed especially for the price. Otherwise flavor of filling was tasty.

Best possible pies ever and my friend and I will be going there frequently. Pork bbq pies and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Wonderful staff!

Stopped by while visiting Baltimore & got a whole key lime pie & 2 slices of the beef / gruyère pie (which was fresh out of the oven.)
Damn, the Key Lime has a crumbling crust & was made to perfection.
The beef / gruyère pie slices were packed with meat.
This place is a gem - I dare say that they go head to head with my favorite pie restaurant (located in N.Y.C.)
GOOD JOB, guys.

The bartender couldn’t have been kinder — she made me a perfect Americano and made my partner a hot chocolate from scratch even though it wasn’t on the menu. Great conversation, great music, and I know from 10+ previous visits that the pie is excellent.

Listen, I’ve been to loads of food spots before and am a pretty kind person when it comes to most things but these pies were not dangerous delicious. My GF and I went out to Hampden for a date night. The bartender told us this pace had been on the food channel network etc. when I got tho pie. It was like walk and totally heated in a microwave. I’m not one to complain about food more do I ever take it back but the price and how much the food chef was hyped up I did. The told me the wouldn’t refund the pie and they have t ever had a bad complaint. I’m not saying they did t have a bad night but we were the only people in the place and it was treatable! So yeah I give this place and 1 star.

No one does pie better than Dangerously Delicious. Over the years, I've tried tons of flavors of their pies and quiches, and this is one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat.

Favorite flavors: Pecan, Baltimore Bomb, Lemon Chess, and Chocolate Chip Pancake

It's very much a punk-rock pie shop in a way I love dearly.

Informal. Had one savoury and one sweet. You can't go wrong.

Vegetarian options: Quiche and sweet pies. I can't say whether there's lard in the crust. Some pies are non-dairy.

Used to be 5 star pies. The crusts are now way to thick hard and tasteless like they are premade frozen from a restaurant supply?

If I do a store bought crust, I'll coat it in ginger snapper cookie and graham cracker crumb mixture. Make the crust part of the experience, it shouldn't taste like the box.

Hope this place improves so it can go back to 5 stars.

If you're ever in Houston GO TO HOUSE OF PIES!!!

Have the southern cut quiche! We're sitting on the porch listening to the bluegrass band out front. The owner is the coolest. This is a perfect Sunday afternoon, where's the 6 star option?
