Daniela is an amazing restaurant. My wife has celiac so we don't go out to eat often because it's hard to find truly celiac safe restaurants. I found this restaurant on a website featuring gluten free restaurants and was glad to learn they have a separate part of the kitchen for gluten free meals. They even have gluten free pre-meal bread, which my wife loved

The food was absolutely delicious. It's hard to find Italian food this good outside of Italy (and yes, I've been there). The staff is very friendly and attentive. My wife loved her gluten free meal and, best of all, didn't get sick later so the kitchen does a great job of keeping the gluten free food separate from everything else. My meal was exquisite as well.

For such amazing food, that features handmade pasta, the prices were very reasonable.

I wholeheartedly recommend you go to Daniela Pasta and Pastries. You won't regret it!

Quaint little restaurant. The Caesar salad was fresh and well made. I enjoyed PAGLIA E FIENO and my husband had a Chicken entree. Both were hot, flavorful and very rich. I could only eat 1/3 of my dinner, the cream sauce was so heavy. We would recommend trying. Try the Limoncello shot.. very tasty!

Stopped by this place purely based on Internet reviews while visiting JHU. Everything exceeded expectations. Never had Sardinian food before. Have to say I've enjoyed every bit of the food. Great people. Great decor too. Highly recommend.

My gf’s and I strolled in Daniela’s one Sunday funday and I was immediately hooked! I brought a date here another evening bc I couldn’t stop raving about how authentic and mouth watering the dishes are, the way the ambiance transported me to Italy, and how kind and generous the staff is. I’m so thankful for that fateful Sunday bc Daniela’s has become a staple for me in Hampden.

The pasta truly is home made and the dishes are made to order. This is Nonna’s restaurant!!!

I ordered pacheri ai funghu porchini. The first time I came here was post workout and I wanted extra protein so our server, Osakana, recommended to add a red meat sauce mixed with the white cream sauce. And it was absolutely delicious!! It’s the kind of meal that makes you involuntarily close your eyes and savor every flavor dancing on your tastebuds.

My date ordered the spaghetti alla chitarra in salsa di carne with a side of veal. I tasted some of his spaghetti and the basil and garlic was what stood out the most. This sauce is the most authentic sauce I’ve ever had stateside. I was transported back to Italy with every bite!!

Daniela’s is a family owned and run restaurant that brings the flavors of Sardinia to Baltimore and I am so so grateful and thrilled to have a place like this in my hometown!! I recommend Daniela’s to everyone who has the opportunity to visit Hampden!!!

This is my favorite bakery in the city. Highly recommend; this is a small family run place and the food is some of the best I've ever had.

A matter of taste of course but IMO, the food was too greasy and really not great.
And you have to wait forever for anything...

Food was amazing! Authentic homemade scratch kitchen. They were super accommodating to allergies (since it’s a made from scratch kitchen). Staff was super friendly and genuine.

Daniela’s is 100% worth your time when visiting Baltimore. Every time we come, it’s fantastic. Warm, olive oily focaccia to start. Glass of Sardinian wine. Hot plate of food that feels like it just left a Sardinian Mom’s (the owner’s mom!) hands. Daniela’s is the best humble treasure of Hampden.

I’m a regular here, and this is the kind of restaurant that just continually blows you away. The food is so, so good. Every time.
Best dish on the menu is the green mushroom lasagna (with an Italian name!). I’ve tried many dishes to rival it, and while several come close, this is the kind of meal that looks humble, but one bite slows down time. Eyes close. String lights twinkle a bit brighter.

Daniela is one of our favorite restaurants in Baltimore. Authentic Sardinian cuisine with bespoke quality ingredients, some of which we have learned are imported directly from Sardinia! The service is great too, the moment you walk in you are immersed in some of the best hospitality there is.
