Fantastic Italian Panini and lemonade. Really great buttery bread cooked perfectly; banana peppers were a nice touch. Really fast delicious lunch spot for jurors at the courthouse across the street.

Pay them a visit and TIP GENEROUSLY!! I truly appreciate the hard work and stellar customer service from the staff here! For vegetarians, there are multiple options, and they are flexible with modifications. Their deli sandwiches, baked goods, and seasonal drinks are all delicious. Seriously, give one of their iced tea refresher specials or cafe drinks a try ... you will not regret it.

Got a scrapple egg and cheese on a bagel and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had.

owner was rude just wanted to see the bar for a possible drink after spending 30 dollars for a sandwich soap and a slice a cake.

Great decor and atmosphere. Clean. Great menu. Reasonable prices. David and Dad's is in an old building that used to be a bank. It has the wow effect for sure. It is hard to find a good deli anymore, so I'm glad I found this place. I would put it on par with McAllisters. Great offerings of deli sandwiches and staples like cole slaw and potato salad, as well as soups, salads, cheese steak, fries, and some hot entrees.

My roast beef sandwich was piled high with everything that I wanted. The bread was good and soft too. But I wish that they would spread the meat out to the edges of the bread so that the sandwhich was flat. They had a nice complimentary water station set up, and they also had staff to take away your dishes. The restrooms were on the lower level and they looked clean, however, the floor was all sticky, so I decided not to even use it. Overall, it was a nice place and I will go back.

By far the nicest staff I've met while traveling in this inhospitable city called Baltimore. An oasis in a desert of rudeness. Great coffee too!

Entry door is not visible when driving on the street, as it faces NE into the intersection of St. Paul (one way N) and E Lexington St.
Until walking, I did not actually find the place. HOWEVER, I am glad that I spent the extra time to actually make the visit.
If I lived in Baltimore, I would probably eat here at least once a week. The food and service were top notch. The prices were very reasonable for any metropolis. Free refill on a $2.25 drip coffee. And the building is cool.... No games with pricing. You pay when you order. Please look for and contribute to the cash tip jar!
Thank you to the owner, for keeping this establishment the way it is.
I created a review last week with a different user ID, prior to eating, as a reminder. I am unable to access that review, to edit it.
I am not trying to over comment on this location.

The service & atmosphere was fine. Staff was courteous. I ordered an Italian panini along w/ mozzarella sticks and wish I had taken a pic but forgot. My panini looked like a toasted sandwich. My bread didn't appear to have any butter or oil to give the full experience. I could open the sandwich with no problem however the cheese was melted. Will not be my first or second choice for lunch but it's in the general area. My coworkers recommend one of the salads next time. They were definitely busy so either people love them or it's a convenient location for lunch.
