Uproot this joint and plop it down in any city in the USA and people will flock to it. Killer service with a smile, great food done quick, great coffee and barista drinks, and the atmosphere and architecture is... Just wow. I wish I was in town more than a few days... I'd stop here daily. The pancakes are great - sweet and fluffy. And the breakfast wraps are to die for. The Spicy Breakfast and the Bermuda were my personal favorites. On the surface they're not earth shattering concoctions... But they're doing good, simple food quickly and WELL and that's what matters. And... Shout out to the DELIGHTFUL older African American lady at the register. Give that lady a raise!!! ❤️

What an amazing place!! A repurposed bank that has become a trendy breakfast eatery that offers a ton of different items including traditional breakfast plates and also more modern options like smoothies. I tried the avocado toast and unfortunately neglected to get a picture because, and trust me in this, if you could see the plating, you'd drive there for an order right now! A delicious balsamic drizzle takes it over the top! Just when I thought I was satisfied, we tried the smoothies and I highly recommend the peanut butter banana for a filling and slightly sweet treat! 😋 The coffee comes with free refills which is a nice touch. My only critique is that the way the tables are arranged makes the eating area a bit tight and somewhat difficult to make your way through the tables, like when you want to fix your coffee. I recommend a different arrangement to help open it up some more. Have a great breakfast here!

It’s been over a year since I moved from living in Baltimore, and I still think about the sausage gravy at David and Dad’s on the regular.

Went here randomly from jury duty. I really liked it and would come back more but I am not really in that area a lot. Only negative was the court info said they give free drinks but it was $1 which was fine bc it was also free refills and a great value.

I have to admit my rating is significantly impacted by the fact that I came here specifically for the homemade sausage gravy or chipped beef gravy, and they didn’t have either.

I forgot to ask what kind of bread they had when I ordered and they served me white toast without asking me my preference. Maybe that’s all they had.

The grits came to the table, barely warm. I’m not sure, but I believe they were instant grits. They did pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds to heat them up for me. Which I appreciated.

The scrapple was a nice thick slice and cooked to perfection. Very hot in the middle. I wanted over easy eggs. They were a little more well done than I like. Not much runny yolk. The coffee was good. The servers were friendly. The breakfast was very reasonably priced.

Nothing screamed. “You’ve gotta come back here.” it was much different than my first experience here before they moved locations.

Parking: It depends on how busy the city is. I came early in the morning and there were plenty of spaces and the paid parking hadn’t begun yet, so it was free.

Excellent front to back. Food was wonderful. I got an omelette and home fries and tried the French toast. All very delicious. The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is warm. Good sound system playing cheery Christmas music.

A favorite lunch haunt, particularly for their Hummus Wrap (recommend - in a spinach wrap).
