I tried empanadas for the first time ever
And DMV empanadas has set a new standard for me.
Savoured every bit of my pesto chicken empanada and loved every frickin’ bite.
Must try!
Best empanadas in the DMV!
These empanadas are SO good I drive from the other side of Baltimore to get them sometimes. I particularly recommend the chicken pesto and chorizo potato ones. They all have their names pressed into the edge of the empanada which is so cute and handy to differentiate them. Don't skip the sauce, it makes them even more yummy. The staff are very friendly and helpful too!
It can be a bit hard to find parking depending on the time of day, but that's how it is at cross street market and the empanadas are worth it. I've never had trouble finding a table to sit at.
Almost embarrassing how much I look forward to the Fell’s Farmers Market every Saturday for these empanadas.
I buy from their Fells Point Farmers Market stand. They are delicious! Always one of the most popular stands, often with a fast moving line. Service is wonderful-always with smile. And their mild sauce is the cherry on top! My favorite go-to on a Saturday morning.
owner was sweet but the empanadas were even better, 10/10 i would recommend this to anyone one look for FRESH, hot and tasty empanadas.
Absolutely peak. I'm reviewing on behalf of their stand at the Waverly Farmers Market; this is the best stand out of all of them. If friends and I are going to the saturday morning Farmer's Market, we're going to get empanadas. They're synonymous. And I suspect that's the case for many Hopkins students, because the line often extends really far back.
Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken (which is indeed spicy) and the Pesto Chicken. They're $4 each, and as a secret easter egg, the name of the flavor you got is hidden on the crimped part. Chef's kiss. Keep it up DMV Empanadas!!!

I am a regular customer of DMV Starting at the Crofton Farmers Market, since we tried the empanadas more than a year ago, they have become our favorite Saturday breakfast, all the empanadas are very good, but our favorites are: Steak & Cheese and Bacon Egg & Cheese. The price of each empanada at the Crofton Farmers Market is $4, and they're worth it.

These empanadas are amazing! We got the #13 pesto empanada with onions corn and mushrooms. Wow with the salsa, it was *chefs kiss*
I thought that their empanadas were wonderful. They offer a wide variety of flavors (the chorizo potato was my favorite!), and they were all hits. Very filling, and they don’t skimp on the meat. I visited during a pretty slow period (weekday afternoon) and the staff was very kind and wore gloves when handling my food. They also have Mexican Coke and other not-often-seen drinks for sale. Will visit again! Also: pertaining to their name (which seemed to have made a few people mad), I agree that Baltimore is its own thing apart from DC, but this empanada place also has a primary location in Gaithersburg, which is squarely in the DMV.

This is getting ridiculous having the DMV (Washington D.C. Metro Area) on Baltimore's jock all time. People feeding to this nonsense thinking it is all the same location. Stay in your own lane. Start a business in your own city. They should changed the name to Baltimore's Empanadas instead since you are in Baltimore the largest city in Maryland alone. How come people are getting stupider when it comes of location?

1) Thank you for your food and staff getting me violently ill.2) Thank you for being so cheap you charge for empanada sauce rather than provide it in the normalcy and tradition of the food3) Thank you for not teaching your employees and family how to wash their hands after they sneeze on the utensils while selling and serving food4) Thank you for sneezing on food and then not throwing the food in the trash so your food can get as many customers sick with respect to public health and the spread of COVID-19 and variants of COVID5) Thank you for not wearing masks so that your employees and their family can spread the flu, COVID-19 and all other virus related issues in a public setting such as a farmer’s market6) Thank you for not reflecting good hygiene practices because for your type of food services, you put profits over the safety of your customer7) Thank you for absolutely nothing
