It’s soooo gooooddd. The shrimps were bartered and fried and then it has lettuce , tomato, and a bit of their signature cheese sauce which gives it such a good flavor. And unrelated but one time I got an oyster mushroom entree and it was burnt😒. If anyone can convince me to get it again please do. Because I was going to order the oyster mushrooms until I remembered. Otherwise I love their cakes, smoothies and seafood Mac/lasagna/Mac and cheese too
I was a first timer. I got the mac and cheese. that was pretty good. the lasagna was different. no tomato sauce. just dry noodles with vegan crumbles (which were very salty) and vegan cheese. that was disappointing. the collard greens seemed to be cooked in straight vinegar. now, I'm a vinegar girl don't get me wrong, but I don't take shots lol and this was like I was taking shots. the blueberry cheesecake was so-so. the lemon cake was decent. the ginger lemonade left me undecided. I don't think I'd go back unless this was a last resort.

Fried cauliflower was flavorless and soggy 2/10 and the seafood Mac and cheese was okay 6/10. It wasn’t the best at all i took a few bits and I had to throw it out.

Ordered at 5:31pm. Did not receive my food until 5:52pm. I used to come here very often when it was fully staffed but now the vibes are not the same. It’s only one guy here, please help him.

They need someone working the front counter who is fluent in English. And the seafood mac and cheese had absolutely NO seasoning. Their quality of service has REALLY gone down. #SoDisappointed

Didn’t feel welcomed
Beautiful space inside, and always clean when I visit. I'm a huge fan of the Gen. Tso's Cauliflower... when I happen to catch it made fresh. Otherwise it starts to feel soggy and doesn't taste as good. Can't really go wrong with the dummies, and the fries are made to order so I like them as well. The service is okay, but not as good as when they first opened. The environment seems very different and dull, but the food makes up for it. I rarely see anyone working the front, as they have kiosks to order from. That gives a bit of an impersonal touch to the atmosphere. Overall, and good place to get good food. The area is very walkable, and there are several businesses on the street, so some days/times you’ll find the limited street parking to be even more scarce.

Ordered to go and loved the portions. I've had their Mac n cheese from MOM's Organics so I was excited to see they had a location in DC and wanted to try more food. The general tso cauliflower is very good! I love their vegan cheesecake as well!

Loved going to this location.Used to have very friendly energetic Mexican.Gentlemen, who would serve the food?He is no longer working at the store, it appears and now has been replaced by the rudest white man. Who clearly does not want to do this work and appears to think he is doing you.A favor serving you this overpriced food.
The simple fact of the change in staff is reason enough to not go back sir, check your attitude. That is why the restaurant is continuously empty now
Paid $37 for a truly disappointing meal. I originally ordered the drummies but was told they were sold out only after placing the order. I was then offered tenders and crab cakes as substitutes. For sides, I chose mac and cheese and quinoa.
After a 25-minute wait, I opened the box to find food that looked unappetizing — and unfortunately, it tasted even worse. The tenders were mediocre, the crab cakes were bland, and the mac and cheese was barely edible. I ended up throwing away 80% of the meal.
The only redeeming part of the experience was the Colada Moss drink — that was excellent. Everything else was a waste of money. I miss Grub Factory — the food was better, and the chef actually knew what they were doing.

Took a long time to place my order. The bathroom light didn’t work or I didn’t know how to turn on; either way I had to use it in the dark. There was no hand soap in the bathroom either; which makes me very nervous. My oyster mushroom sandwich tasted good but was a lot tougher than I’m used to

I love this vegan hotspot. The food is always delicious, and the service is good, but the staff(multi-tasking) were not helpful in explaining the meals. If you don't know how to use their automated ordering system, you'll have issues.

Tried this place for the 1st time and honestly opinion, not great. I got the general Tso Cauliflower, mac and cheese and greens. The cauliflower was burnt in the sauce was not good at all. I honestly would not recommend at all. The Mac was ok, not my fave thing at all. The best thing was the collard greens though even they were not seasoned. The guy who works there was nice but when I walked in the lights were off and I had to order on a machine it was a few min before her came out. The place was beautiful. Love the look absolutely inviting and lovely.
