Don’t know tavern has been a staple of my Baltimore experience, and I am so sad to see it go. Wing wednesdays with terry and eric have been a highlight of me and my friends’ week. It’s really true that when you’re here, you’re family ❤️ top three wing flavors btw: magic city, honey old bay, spicy peach. All my friends hate Big Bar for taking this place away. Forever in our hearts.

Father left his credit card at the restaurant on a Monday called ten times the next day on a Tuesday after they opened and their phone number doesn’t even work. Very unprofessional for a bar in Baltimore. Don’t leave your card there who knows what they’ll do with it.

Come in after a ravens loss for a drink was at the bar for some time waiting for someone to ask me what I wanted and the same waiter on my side made eye contact with my twice I even raised my arm to ask for a drink ignored me. As someone conservative trying to view past race I felt like I was being ignored especially because new walk ins were getting helped when I wasn’t asked at all. Server was wearing a southern confort shirt btw someone did give a menu at the end and I did leave a 30 percent tip cash to him. This was a disappointing experience in the place and I would not recommend people to come here if they will be ignored in priority of others. I work in the services industry and this makes us look like terrible people. I will state it was not busy when I came in.
I love the AYCD here. Natties on tap, top tier vibes. Probably top 3 best wings in Baltimore.

It closed early, and my boyfriend accidentally left his phone there (he is not local at all). Didn't matter the amount of calls, the banging, the note I held up, they wouldn't engage. I understand that drunk goofballs wanna show up past close, but we were about a half hour early, and again, they had his phone and he's not local. The least they could have done was answer that phone at some point since they weren't *supposed* to be closed yet, and even if itd5an obnoxious drunk calling, you can hang up, but we didn't even get that.

Ridiculously rude bartenders on multiple occasions, across multiple years. Tired of it. Tonight really took the cake
I’ve lived in this neighborhood since 2009 and I have patronized this spot since before its current ownership. Back when No Idea (now Hair of the Dog) and Don’t Know were sister bars.
I bought a bunch of food (individual items and trays) as well as drinks (literally everything on the menu) during the height of COVID & blah blah blah.
I have been talking up their wings for ages, saying that they’re better than Delia Foleys and blah blah blah…
…but never again. This place really has fallen off as well as pissed me off. I can’t even understand how some of these alcoholics behind the bar have even managed to maintain employment here. It’s sad
Especially since the wings these days are only truly worth having when they’re 1/2 price on Wednesdays. And of course, don’t buy any full price drinks. If ur preferred drink isn’t on happy hour special but it’s Wednesday and u still want cheap food, then I suggest that u just get Wednesday wings and go elsewhere. U can dine in with the wings special without ordering any drink except water (great for pre-gaming for elsewhere; get a nice base of food and some water)
Warning about the wings:
About a third of the time, ur wing order will come out ice cold after waiting for like 25-30 mins. Even when sitting at the bar!
Another third of the time, ur wings will come out ice cold after waiting like 15-30 seconds.
Not sure which is worse lol
And then the leftover (and increasingly variable) third of time, the wings do actually come out rather perfect
Either way I’m beyond tired of this place and I don’t even care about their absurdly cheap wings special at this point, like it isn’t even worth it unless u are really dedicated to frugality

Best wings in the city! Such a fun spot with great drink/beer selection, simple but delicious bar menu, and a welcoming atmosphere. If they don't mind an Eagles fan sneaking in, I'd totally come here and watch football!
Kid-friendliness: Negative, this is a bar.

Had an upset trying another bar down the street and extremely happy it happened. Or wouldn't have found this place and the amazing bartender Jessie. Dude is handling everything up front and super quick and nice. Had crab tots, philly cheesesteak fries, and electric lemonade. Everything was fantastic. The music was a great vibe 2010s feel of just rock/pop bangers. Visiting from Houston and wish I was staying longer just to eat and drink here again.

I really wanted to try this place for some time now but they never answer the phone when I call. I even tried to go to this place as soon as they opened and whoever was working obviously hid in the back somewhere until I left. They didn’t open until who know when. Needless to say I can scratch them off my list.
This is not my first time attempting to get information or eat from this place.

Excellent locals bar and pub food. Don’t miss the Crab tots! The wings and burgers are legit. Bartenders are top notch and the beer menu changes as it should. Trust me on this spot. And I’m not a local kissing up either. ??
