Didn’t feel welcomed by staff when came in.
My Latte didn’t taste good (I don’t know if it was poor making or beans).
The lady at the bar (and her 2 colleagues) seemed to be gossiping about my friend and me. I just wanted to leave and pour out my coffee. Don’t recommend.
Great food and really lovely staff!
Everything about this place is great minus the short white male barista.
Let me preface this review by saying the way these menu items are listed makes no sense.
I wanted a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. DIRECTLY under the bacon egg and cheese sandwich is a SPICY egg and cheese sandwich. I knew for sure I didn’t want that so I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich thinking it would be just as it says. No. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich also has pepper jelly on it. I walked back over and kindly let him know I didn’t realize the sandwich I ordered also had pepper jelly on it and that I didn’t want that. He said okay, rang me up, then told me my total. I was confused since it was a simple mistake. His response was “well it says it on the menu”. And im like okay well I didn’t realize that because it doesn’t say SPICY bacon egg and cheese sandwich. And he kept being a prick sayin “well it’s right there. it’s on the menu. idk what you want me to do about that.”. I just couldn’t believe he expected me to pay again for an honest mistake. I asked for a manger to which he replied with an attitude “the manager just left” and just shrugged me off. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with to which he says the kitchen manager is here. So I asked to talk to him. So I tell him “hey I didn’t realize this also has pepper jelly on it, I don’t want that im sorry” and you want to know what he said? NO PROBLEM! Then the barista is looking confused and I heard him ask “well what do you want me to do” and let me tell you what you should do. You should really shut your mouth when you’re talking to people. The whole exchange was extremely rude and off putting.
So for those of you reading this, make sure you don’t make any mistakes here ordering your food because he will surely make you pay for them.
And for the business, you should really consider just having a spicy egg and cheese sandwich with the option to up-charge $2 for bacon considering the base of the sandwiches are the same. One just has bacon. That doesn’t seem a bit redundant to yall?
Very nice place in the heart of the city. Shout out to the staff that is especially awesome. Thank you for the tiramisu!
Dooby’s is described as a Korean-inspired café, and while the menu does reflect that influence, the exterior and interior don’t give off a distinctly Korean vibe. That said, it’s a cozy, modern spot with a wide selection of coffee drinks, pastries, and food items—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
I stopped in for a coffee break and tried one of their house-made syrup lattes. I went with the Miso Caramel latte ($4.50), subbed with oat milk for an extra $0.75. It didn’t have a strong miso flavor, but it was still smooth and enjoyable. I also grabbed a Lavender Goat Cheese Scone for $4, which was a highlight. You could see the lavender tea leaves baked in and the goat cheese crumble gave it a savory edge that balanced the floral notes beautifully—highly recommend trying it if you like unique pastries.
The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with plenty of seating. It’s the kind of place where people come to chat, study, or work—easygoing and not too loud. They also have a water station with free water available, which is a nice touch.
Check out the menu photos if you want to explore more food options and prices. I’d definitely come back to try their full menu next time. A great spot for coffee, conversation, or getting some work done.
This was my one and only stop in Baltimore and I was not disappointed. The cold brew was like any other cold brew and didn't exceed any expections but I didn't come for the coffee. For lunch, I got the brisket banh mi and the kimchi potato salad and WOW was it delicious. The brisket could have been a little warmer but the flavor made up for it. The potato salad was like no other and paried perfectly with the banh mi. I wish I had something like this back home!
Food isn't really fresh, textures are very mushy. The breakfast sandwiches seem decent, however I would not come back for the Asian dishes. Would also love to try the deserts!
get the hot cocoa with a shot of espresso :)

I really enjoyed the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The latte was on the sweeter side, but not in a bad way.

Great place for coffee, and great place to study
What a fantastic find! I enjoyed the “homestyle breakfast” when I stopped by and it was excellent. A simple dish yet one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had and I’ve travelled to over 40 countries out of the U.K (hence the well deserved review!). Orange juice also freshly squeezed and really nice. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Staff can be very racist and careless, especially with the homeless population and those who have actually lived in Baltimore their whole lives. They resort to calling the police on people too easily instead of just interacting with people on a human level. It makes me uneasy patronizing this place.
Rude staff, not clean here. Couldn’t pay me to come back
