Fantastic pastries and pizza. Can be pretty slow on their busy days. Ordering a pizza online took 1 hour and then (after showing up to collect) took another 20 mins.

Awesome spot for takeout or dine outside. All the food is great and zero single use plastic is rad.

We’ve had their pizza before and really liked it so went this morning for pastries. We ordered a bomboloni and it was so greasy that it was inedible. When you squeezed it grease came out and it tasted of old frying oil. I don’t normally return food, but this bombolni was clearly not prepared well (I suspect they used frying oil that was too cold causing the pastry to absorb too much oil). When I asked for another pastry to replace this one, the person at the counter tried to tell me the pastry was supposed to taste like this because it was “a very moist pastry” and only offered a cookie as a replacement. A bomboloni is an Italian donut and while it should not be dry, it should not be dripping in oil, nor should it taste of the oil it was cooked in. I am Italian and I grew up on Long Island with many Italian bakeries and have never had one this bad. Not to mention, it was $5, so I expect excellence. I would not normally write a review, but the restaurant’s refusal to acknowledge their mistake left me no other option. I would avoid this place for pastries; there are much better bakeries in town.

The pizza was really good got the special it was fig pizza and the fig tart. Make sure you go on a nice day it started to rain and it really only outside seating not much inside. The vanilla cream soda was good too!

We used to have their arancini at the farmers market and were just thrilled when they opened their Remington location. The wife comes every week and it never disappoints. Viva Sicilia!

Easily one of my top favorite places to eat in Baltimore. The pizza is the best. Really really great sauce. The espresso soda is delicious and my new favorite drink. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and relaxing. Friendly service. A+

I visited this restaurant and while the food was decent, I found the gratuity policy strange. They add a gratuity even though it’s essentially self-service That might make sense in Europe, but we’re in the U.S., where tipping is supposed to reflect service. Adding gratuity for nothing and still expecting an extra tip is unreasonable. A simple coffee and cake can easily cost over $20 here. I chose not to tip, and I won’t be coming back because of this policy.

Pizza outside of NYC isn't worth eating, except here.

Best bakery in Baltimore— creative rotation of a rich variety of baked goods: bomboloni, cucidati and baci di dama

This place is freaking amazing, I don’t care what anyone says. If you’re gonna be a little cry baby cause they don’t give you lid please grow up. This place is a gem, especially being surrounded by overpriced and mid places to eat. Prices are very reasonable compared to other coffee shops. Every time I’ve been there service has been great. Some of the drinks do take more time to make than maybe your favorite drink at Dunkin Donuts but that’s because they are crafted with love and care and ARE NOT EVEN COMPARABLE! If you are in a rush, make coffee at home in your keurig like a competent human being. They are clear about the way they do things and it admirable. The taste and quality of the product is unmatched by any other local coffee shop in that area and any chain for that matter. Biscotti’s are fire. Their specialty drinks are exceptional and very unique. Drinks come out at perfect drinking temperature. If you don’t feel comfortable driving with your beverage lidless in the car, just make a little extra time to sit and enjoy it before you leave. It’ll be worth it. I recommend the pistachio cappuccino, golden milk with a shot of espresso or two and the cafe con negroli.

I love Doppio! And more so precisely because of what others might think of as "negatives." In a world where its rarer everyday to find food and beverage businesses with truly unique perspectives, I crave spots that have a clear vision they won't compromise. I imagine it's really hard to stick to their environmental values day-in and day-out, but biodegradable plastic doesn't actually biodegrade. We can all use reminders to do better by our planet, and I, too, have spilled some of my creamy cappuccino on my cute outfit. C'est la vie! <3 Don't sleep on the arancini, bombolini, or the unassuming but delightful chocolate rye cookies.
