I used to like this place, even though it's an overpriced dump, but will never return because of the rude, aggressive, entitled staff. Customer service is non existent. Avoid at all cost, not that they care if you come or not. 15 % tip is automatically included in price but they practically spit on you if you don't reward the glacial slow, dismal service with an additional 20%.

Delicious food, fast service. The line was out the door. We stopped by after going to the Greedy Reads next door and read our new books while we waited for food.

I got a piece of tiramisu which was very good, but had to pay a 15% gratuity (for takeout?). Totaled $8.23. Then I saw a sesame demi-baguette near the register and asked for one of those to go. I had to pay another 15% gratuity that took this nice half a baguette up to $8.23. Ouch. For half a baguette? What ever happened to good taste AND good value? Very pretentious place. No thanks. They were probably glad to get rid of an old fart like me.
This place is so special. Don't skip the four cheese pizza with the pistachios. Grateful to have them in the neighborhood!

Had a slice of cheese pizza and a maritozzi. The maritozzi was so delicious! It was huge and I fully anticipated asking for a box on my way out, but it was light and airy that I ate the whole thing! I got there shortly before closing and it was still fresh amd delicious. Definitely a must try! The pizza was good. Crispy bottom, but not obnoxiously so. Tasted like a sourdough crust which since I didnt fully read the menu was a surprising, but pleasant touch. Would like to go back and try the coffee. They had some yummy sounding ones!
Also SUPER cute cafe. Ive never been to italy, but I imagine the cafes there look like this one

Very popular bakery. There's not a lot of seating and there's a lot of interest, the be prepared for take out. In the summer, there's seating outside. The pizza is fabulous and there's dozens of fun, and often unique, items. I had a chestnut bum that wasnt overly sweet and showed a lot of design and technique.

Overpriced for subpar food. Emblematic of the gentrification of Remington.
