The pork entree was too fatty for us. Drinks “Persephone's Spring” and “What She's Having” were both great options! Skip the cheesecake.

Always a lovely time at Dutch Courage. Our guest enjoyed a gin flight that she raved about. My Japanese Breakfast Cocktail can't be beat! We were able to sit outside on a hot day and still be very comfortable. Service was so fabulous. We will be back.

We love the cocktails at Dutch Courage! They are creative and varied and the selection of gins runs to several pages. The space is great, both inside and out. And the staff are welcoming and the service is excellent. The food is fine but not the highlight. The cheese boards, for example, are a bit too expensive (you can get better cheeses for less money at fine dining restaurants elsewhere). On my last visit I had the porchetta which was beautifully flavored and well cooked—crispy skin!—but was ultimately too fatty, and the choice to plate a hot protein over stone cold couscous was odd. But we do love Dutch Courage for its vibe and its amazing mixologists.

We had a lovely night out at Dutch Courage. We each had a delicious gin drink that was plenty strong for sticking to just one. I had the chicken and my husband had the steak. Both were really good. It was a cool atmosphere and nice to have something different.

Went on a weekend night. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice list of cocktails and mocktails. Shareable plates were nicely seasoned and with many pair worthy options it's easy to enjoy a few of them together. Stairs to entrance. Street parking.

Recently I was a wedding day coordinator at Dutch Courage. The owner and staff eagerly assisted with details and requests beyond our expectations. The bride, groom, wedding party and guests enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and ongoing attention provided. The food and drinks were delicious. Everything was fantastic beyond the end of the event. I highly recommend consideration of having an event there!

This is now my favorite spot in Baltimore. The food was incredible (crab dip is a must, the best I have had) and the bartenders were stellar. Ted was great - friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the experience, it is a truly special place. The only thing that happened at the start, which was a bit off putting, was when we were checking in. I was speaking to someone at the host stand and had already given my name for the reservation when a man barged into the conversation and loudly said "let me see what we have available" as if he assumed we didn't have a reservation already. He didn't greet us and it came off extremely rude to us (and the employee we were speaking to at the time). Thankfully, we ended up sitting at the bar and thoroughly enjoying everything. Still, driving home I reflected on that initial experience and wondered about why he behaved that way- and made the assumption that we did not have a reservation already. It definitely gave a vibe that wasn't welcoming. It was inconsistent with the rest of the experience and worth addressing.

We decided to go to Dutch Courage to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. The staff placed us at a great, lively table near the main bar, our server was fantastic and brought us complimentary champagne, and the drinks were fantastic as always. My wife and I live in Baltimore and have visited Dutch Courage many times, but my dad lives in Michigan, had never been before, and he was very impressed by the experience.
