My girlfriend and I LOVE this place! We make it a point to always grab a cookie every time we come to the marketplace. Also the sweetest people ever. <3

Wtf who let these people close? Jesus, where am I going to get cupcakes now? ugh. Yelp why can't I write a short eulogy? Seriously, what more is there to say then the place closed and it's a dark day for cupcake lovers?

Denise is able to wrap and fold incredible flavor into everything she does! You know when you had me at ginger bread, you had me for good.

Literally have no idea how this place even got anything near this high reviews lol. At $4-5 a cupcake I was really expecting a decent cupcake. So dry it's not even funny! You're almost better off getting a Twinkie down the street. At least you get what you expect.... lol i never thought I'd review a cupcake place but it's literally that bad

It's difficult to describe in words how I feel about the cupcakes in this joint. Maybe a few emojis will help...

This was my first visit. I ordered a chocolate cupcake with raspberry frosting. It was perfect: super moist, rich and flavorful. I also ordered a scoop of the peach pie ice cream. It was DELICIOUS. A little pricey, but worth the money. I'm a fan.

I was set on ordering from another well-known bakery in Baltimore but my "midnight confession" is they were utterly unreliable. One word about Edible Favors by Denise: PHENOMENAL!! I am from out of town and needed cupcakes and desserts for a bridal shower. Ms. Denise assisted me with my order. She made suggestions on the flavors, I told her the color scheme and she just flew with it. Not only did Ms. Denise whip up batches of super moist delicious cupcakes, cake pops and treats she delivered them and was prompt. Words can't explain how grateful I am having found Edible Favors by Denise, but the one word I'd use again and again and again is PHENOMENAL. Thank you for your professionalism, attention to details, and helping to make our day SUPER fabulous!!! YOU ROCK DENISE and your cupcakes - YUMMY!!!

This place is in the Mount Vernon Market. It is locally owned, run by a chef and her son. Her son rang us up; he was friendly and polite. I got a chocolate cupcake, it was very good. This place is a bit pricey, about $3 for a cake pop and a little under $4 for a cupcake. I understand that local businesses can't charge what chain stores do, though, so I won't dock a star.

Denise makes delicious cupcakes that are very well executed and sells them through her shop at Mt. Vernon Marketplace. Her cupcakes are rich, moist, and come in interesting flavors. Even the traditional vanilla or chocolate versions are decadent. One of my favorites is the oreo cookie flavor which has an oreo cookie baked into the bottom. She is also very helpful with special orders. I contacted her through her facebook page to order cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and when a last minute snow storm interrupted my travel plans, Denise graciously understood and refunded my money. I highly recommend enjoying Denise's cupcakes either direct from her shop or for your catering needs!

Located in Mt. Vernon Marketplace (look for it back near the restrooms), this is the perfect last stop to top of the evening with either sit-down or take-out dessert. There is something for everyone here with both Vegan and non-Vegan options. I asked specifically what the guy behind the counter recommended and he suggested the triple chocolate chip cookie, which led me to indulge in the absolute best cookie I have had in 2017 by far! I've tried the oatmeal raisin, pretzel caramel, peanut butter, and "regular" chocolate chip. All of those were yummy but not as good as the triple chocolate chip. The cupcakes looked delicious but are hard to eat on a full stomach. I'll be sure to save room next time because I saw several larger, denser yummy treats that have my name on them!

Ahhhhh- just had the best vegan cookie I've ever had- perfect crunchy to chewy texture and perfect dash of salt. As always, this place does cookies right. Their non-vegan everything cookie is also delicious with pretzel, toffee, and other amazingness in the proper proportions. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because their ice cream is nothing to write home about and the consistency is a little odd.
