Eggholic - Indian Veg & Egg Street Food

My wife and I have visited Eggholic in other cities in the US and have had good experiences. However, this one, it was our worst experience.

We order paneer masala sandwich, dabeli, and dahi puri. It was nothing like we have had at other branches. The paneer was not marinated properly in the sandwich. The potato stuffing in the dabeli was very less, and the dahi puri was not even assembled properly.

We even complaint, however the chef wouldn't listen to our point of view. We told him, we have been to Eggholic's in other cities, and your food is missing the actual taste. He would argue and told us, the chef is professional, he knows the dish.

I would suggest the franchise owner to provide customer trainings to the employees over there and also teach them how to behave with customers on regular basis.

Methi Mutter Malai was bitter due to excess kasoori methi. There was no hint of malai, only excess oil.

I’ve been a regular customer at this location since it opened a couple of years ago. But it’s very unfortunate to see the downfall. Sadly my last visit would be the very last visit to this place. Example 1. The rajwadi lassi was our favorite when this place opened. A year later they started making the lassi thinner (adding water) and charging $1 extra. Next year reduced the size of the serving and again charged a $1 extra. I get inflation and market condition, but at least don’t reduce the quality when you’re increasing the price.
Example 2. Paneer ghotala and Surati ghotala were our go to. Now it’s just tomato gravy with very few bits of paneer and egg. Price increase ofcourse. In conclusion, I hope they see this and TRY and improve cause we rooted for this place at one point. Also pick up the call for order.

The food was so good and I loved the Mango Lassi it’s so goood!!!

worst Indian food i had in DMV area .

To start with , there was no one in the reception to order the food . We had to ring the bell multiple times and wait for 10 minutes before someone turned up and took the order .

Both the curry gravies were tangy ( Paneer Gotala and Toofani curry ) and lacked any flavor . Jeera rice was uncooked.

There was no Manager/representative to take the feedback. Won't recommend to anyone.

I visited this restaurant today. Bad food quality, tastes less food and not welcoming service. I would suggest not go.

I usually order food from here and noticed that after the management change, food quality and quantity reduced. Service is OK. The best Eggholic food I had so far, is from Edison, NJ location.

I ordered a dahi puri today, a few mins ago. Very disappointed. I usually order it from near by restaurant thought of ordering it here. Appreciate they kept 10 puri but they gave boiled potatoes, mita chutney and 1/4 of sweet yogurt. I ended up making extra yogurt at home. I don't think I paid $10 for Making dahi at home. Instead of keeping dahi puri please keep it as mita puri. I hope you see how other restaurants serve it. At least try to give good amount of dahi.

This is my second time ,I came to egg holic , I never want to come again because of the front lady ,she dose by care about customer ,at the first time ,we are order to go ,the order was ready and she was there ,we waited for 10min and the one guy came and asked about what was your order ,the order was already in ready before 20 min ,he said sorry for that ,now the girl was there she is in call again,two times I came she was in the call ,she doesn’t care about customers,at least please respect the customer .I suggest you have change her or tell that girl don’t use the phone when customer are there .and the quality of egg holic is falling day by day .

Sandwiches are perfectly prepared and taste great. We had the paneer and egg sandwiches, highly recommend.
