An eatery/coffee place in the library is very convenient, especially when doing your publication research and writing those papers. I found the staff helpful. Apparently, too many students think the coffee is free. No free refills, guys. Pay for your coffee, folks. The staff will appreciate it, and the establishment will stay in this location.

I ordered the lox bagel here and they gave me 1 little piece of smoked salmon and a tomato slice with the core on it… the hard part that nobody eats.

I personally don't get the hate from all these reviews. When I go there the food I get is probably one of the best parts of my day. The staff there aren't super friendly, but they aren't terrible either. More neutral in my opinion. The biggest problem is that if you go there any time after the morning, it will take a very, very long time to get your food.

All the parts of the food they serve taste good but the workers can't read. I usually order a garden avocado with onions but 75% of the time they forget the onions and I have to go back and ask for them which isn't so bad. But recently me and my friend order the garden avocado with onions, but they gave us bagels with the onion smear and that's it. We went back to get it fixed and the put all the stuff in the garden avocado but they used the same back that still had onion cream smear. And I had to go back again a second time because they forgot to put the onions in. Einstein fell off fr. Not because stuff tastes worst, but because the workers are worse. I used to go to this Einstein bagel pre- covid and get a big breakfast burrito, but afterwards from 2021 - 2023 they never had them available and now they do I guess after me asking every week, but they don't put the same ingredients in it as back then. It was missing the sauce, and jalapenos and now it just tastes like a dry all-nighter.They need to hire new workers next semester because the one working now are illiterate and don't seem to be properly trained on what ingredients go into their signature items. Also it takes up to 30 minutes for the food to be ready.

The workers can literally never get anything right. They always mess my order up. They always move slow. They never understand what you’re trying to ask for. And they charge extra for EVERYTHING. MOST overrated and useless shop. Specifically this one that’s in UMBC library. The workers are absolutely low IQ.

Astronomically slow even when your order is the only one to be made. You will be served faster and get more food per dollar spend at any place in the commons.
The staff are either extremely nice or extremely rude. It’s usually extremely rude. One time I had to state my allergy at least five times and they still got my order wrong. Coffee is horrible as well, get coffee elsewhere, but it’s a decent sandwich compared to other campus spots.
