Ekiben is hands down the best restaurant you will ever eat at! I literally tell everyone I meet to go try their food. The neighborhood bird bun is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything there. But beyond the great food there, the guys behind it all are really the nicest folks. For my birthday, my wife worked it out for me to meet the owners Ephrem and Steve. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated. I can’t thank them enough!! So, everyone within driving distance (or honestly, even flying distance - the food is that good), go support Ekiben and eat a Neighborhood Bird for me!

First, I'd like to point out the great customer service that paints the welcoming atmosphere when you get in. It was late at night when I went to the spot and it still felt alive. Ethan helped me out and was awesome with being patient as he was taking my order so (S/O Ethan). I'm definitely going to make this a recurring spot when I'm close by.

One of the best places to eat at in Baltimore no matter which of the 3 locations you go to the quality is always consistent. Chicken is always crispy and tender and flavored w the best herbs and spices and prices aren’t too bad either

I really hate to do this as I was super excited to invite my friends to try Ekiben for the first time. We both got the Crab Rangoon Eggroll and the Neighborhood Bird Bun. The Crab Rangoon was awesome, and so was the sandwhich until I look at it. It is extremely pink and undercooked inside. I was beyond dissapointed with this.

Ekiben is the best food in Baltimore and I do not say that lightly. You truly can NOT go wrong with anything on the menu and I can promise that you won’t leave hungry- portions are generous. Very nice vibes here and really good unique food options. The sandwich comes on a perfect bao bun and the flavors are awesome!
I ordered to go buy the atmosphere was nice in there, a bit loud but novel experience as you can tell from the photo at the entrance.
I wish the had more options for sides, like a salad or fries to go with the sandwich but really good!
