We used to go to El Salto alot, but got away from going. We decided to go again a few days ago. I wanted Shrimp Street tacos, but they had done away with them, so I had to get Steak street tacos. Street tacos are always made with double corn tortillas. Well, the arrived on single corn tortillas. Anyone who orders tacos knows they are always doubled. Otherwise they tear and fall apart. And they did. Don't try to save money by withholding 3 tacos. Or charge a dollar more.

Stopped by on a weekday for lunch. No wait for a party of two. I ordered the chile relleno and a crispy taco lunch plate. The crispy taco shell and ground meat was what you'd expect from taco bell, with less flavor. The chile relleno was tasty, although I wish it was stuffed with picadillo instead of cheese and I'm not sure why it was typed with white cheese sauce. I'll have to come back for happy hour and split an order of the fajitas texanas. Those looked good.

Vegetarian options: Just get veggie fajitas.

The best chili relleno I've ever had. I've tried others in MD, NC, TX, and Arizona. Nothing compares. I had chili relleno at some place in gambrills yesterday and I was so disappointed that I had to go to el salto today to make up for it. Thank you el salto. The service was great, my cup was always full and I left with sweet memories until next time...
