Cute little tea shop in Baltimore. Compared to other tea houses you don't get a lot of variety. We selected the Queen Bee tea which comes with a pot of tea, one sandwich and the chef's selection of scones and pastries. Our scones were currant and cheddar with chive. They were more like biscuits than scones but tasted good. The lavender shortbread was my favorite. The tart and cupcake were a little too sugary for me. The selection of teas was good.

Solid 3.5 I made a reservation for two at a cute Tea Spot I saw featured on Groupon. There is limited but free parking at the back of the restaurant, which is convenient. The tea service included a choice of tea, a sandwich, and the chef's selection of scones or sweets. One nice touch was the handwritten reservation card with your name and the number of guests. However, I noticed a few downsides during my visit. First, the table was sticky, which wasn't very pleasant. Second, the tea was weak and lukewarm, which was disappointing. I suggest bringing out a fresh tea cup because the place settings were already on the table. While I understand the need to plan, I wonder how long the teacup had been out, especially with no napkin covering the rim.

I had a wonderful time with my friend. The food was good and the tea was wonderful.

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is adorable. Three of us went with a Groupon for "High Tea for 3". We ordered two sandwiches that each had an extra $2 upcharge. However, when we paid, with no other add ons, our total was $25 above the Groupon coupon price. We asked why, but the staff just said the Groupon didn't cover what it said it did. So, we paid over $100 for lunch. The sandwiches were very small. Scones were good. Tea was good. We would not have gone had we known it would be that expensive for lunch, due to the hidden, unexplained extra cost.

Utter Disappointment: Emma's Tea Spot's Bridal Shower Catastrophe"If I could assign zero stars, I would do so without hesitation. My recent experience with Emma's Tea Spot for a bridal shower was nothing short of a disaster. Despite multiple confirmations of the date, time, and location, the incompetence of Emma's Tea Spot led to a complete breakdown of what was meant to be a joyous occasion. With 25 eagerly awaiting guests, including the mother of the bride, we anticipated a delightful "High Tea" experience. Instead, Emma's Tea Spot managed to bungle even the most basic aspects of event planning. Their failure to note the correct date left the mother of the bride devastated and profoundly embarrassed. To add insult to injury, the manager's refusal to rectify the situation was beyond belief. Despite assurances of sending an Uber with food within the hour, they ultimately reneged on their promise, citing the distance to the event site as an excuse. The audacity to suggest that the mother of the bride should personally retrieve the items is a testament to their abysmal customer service.Emma's Tea Spot's lack of compassion and accountability not only marred what should have been a memorable occasion but also tarnished the relationship between a mother and her daughter during a significant milestone. Avoid this company at all costs if you value professionalism, competence, and basic human decency.

Emma was so kind and helpful! I messed up the Groupon voucher I bought to her shop, and she still honored it. My friend and I had a delicious meal and enjoyed spending our time there. I look forward to going back with more friends! Highly recommend stopping in.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

A friend of mine invited me to this spot because she had a groupon and we hadn't had a girl's day in some time. I was super excited to go because I absolutely love cafes and tea sets. It was....underwhelming. When I was driving to the location, I found it incredibly difficult to find the entrance. If it were not for my friend, I would have driven right by it and not known. I ended up turning around in the middle of an intersection to get to the parking. It was certainly a....rustic....parking spot with limited spaces, most of which were filled up already. The walk to the business was short so that wasn't a problem. The place is small but very adorable. I did very much like the interior of the business but I will say there was a tad too much clutter. It was like they put a hodge-podge of items on display simply because it said "made in Britain". The items are cute by themselves but together I was a bit confused. The food was fine. It was kind of on the bland side. Nothing spectacular. I did feel that the portions were small for what you were paying as well. The really aren't any vegan options. You can ask for something if you really want to but don't expect much. All in all, it's fine. If you are going for the quirky vibes more than anything, you will have a good time. If you are going for the food, not worth it in my opinion.

The sandwiches were good. The tea was fine, free refills on pots, the sweets were fresh, the savory scone was well executed. The ambiance left a lot to be desired, (cluttered, old, and no central theme) and there is no real "service". You order at the counter and self serve water and bring your pot back up for refills.Dietary restrictions: No problem asking for dairy freeParking: Limited space parking lot.

It was adorable, and everyone was so very nice. I went with a few friends and to make sure they had accommodations for my mother. I am so excited that they do and i am going again in 3 weeks with my nieces and my mother! It was fun and we had to be kicked out because we DEF took advantage of the two hour policy! Thank you all for being so amazing! See you soon

3.5 stars really.Short Review: Emmas Tea offers a pleasant ambiance and delicious tea selection, making it a worthwhile destination for a leisurely visit or celebration. However, service leaves a little to be desired and patrons should be mindful of the establishment's closing time to ensure a more relaxed experience. I would definitely return, albeit earlier, to fully appreciate what this establishment has to offer!Long review: Came here for my first ever High tea experience and overall, the experience was okay. The atmosphere exuded warmth and charm, creating a welcoming environment. The tea selection was solid, offering a diverse range of flavors to choose from, adding a delightful touch to the afternoon. We got Hibiscus Berry and Cinnamon Plum. While the food was satisfactory, it didn't quite match the excellence of the atmosphere and tea. Didn’t really like the tomato balsamic sandwich but the coronation chicken was good. The scones and pastries were nice also.My significant gripe revolves around the service and timing. It was our first time so we had no idea what to do. The cashier up front wasn’t as helpful as the staff who was cleaning the tables that ended up explaining everything to us and helping us pick our tea and food. Next, despite having a reservation from 3-5, it was disappointing to discover that the establishment closed at 4. I do take some accountability for not double checking but didn’t think to do so as the reservation said until 5pm and there was no warning otherwise. As the clock approached closing time, the staff began tidying up around us, creating an uncomfortable sense of haste and rush. This left a bit to be desired in terms of customer service and attentiveness. Just a small thing and I would definitely return!

First time at Emma's. Loved the atmosphere and decor, and appreciated having my table ready when we arrived. Food was just OK. We had a 1pm reservation. It was so disappointing that you were out of so many items. No quiche, no sweet scones, no tomato soup, and didn't have the tea I wanted, either! It was almost funny how they were out of everything I tried to order. :( The "seasonal fresh fruit" was just sliced up apples (which aren't even in season now (March), anyway). Also, I paid $5 for a deposit for reservations yet it wasn't taken off my food order.

It is such an adorable spot and the food is delicious!! Emma is lovely and so is the rest of the staff. The only issue is every single time I have gone in there (5 times) my order has been incorrect or twice was completely forgotten until I said something. I really do love it there so I’ll keep going back, but that has been quite frustrating. I wonder if there needs to be another system for how the orders are communicated to the rest of the staff.
