Food is always outstanding. Had great fish, Greek green beans, Spinach and Rice mixed together. AND DESSERT OF COURSE. Service and waiter from Greece was knowledgeable and entertaining. Have been there like 4 times now.

I went for the first time yesterday for happy hour. I've been craving oysters. I was not disappointed. The bartender was great, the bar crowd was fun, food fantastic and drinks were perfect. Will definitely be a regular at this spot!

This was our first time eating at this little gem of a restaurant and will definitely be making the trek out of Howard County to visit again. Food, service and ambiance was top notch, the Greek wines were delicious and their ode to being authentically Greek was a delight.

Mussels! Lamb chops! Dorade! All delicious, and our server was friendly and attentive. They've dimmed the lights and added a floral arrangement to the wall so it feels much warmer and intimate. If you haven't been, make your rez now, and if you've already been, make another rez now :)

I highly recommend Estiatorio Plaka, we recently had my Mother in laws wake dinner (40 people) in the area upstairs from the main dining room. The menu we selected was outstanding & delicious. The service was excellent, our out of town guests enjoyed the delicious crab cakes , along with the other food. If you ever need a place to hold a party, I highly recommend. Just call the restaurant & ask to speak to Toni she handles all the event bookings & goes out of her way to make it the best experience for you & your guests. We were looking for old school, traditional Greek cuisine and that's precisely what we got it at Estiatorio Plaka. We ordered the meze platter, squid and fava beans for appetizers and they were all perfectly prepared and scrumptious. Two of us ordered moussaka for an entree and the other 1/2 of a chicken. Again perfect preparation and gigantic portions! I'm very particular about moussaka, and I particularly look for a bechamel sauce where the hint of nutmeg is present without overpowering the dish. That's exactly what we got. And we finished with two desserts including baklava ice cream which appeared to be prepared with vanilla ice cream with ground up baklava mixed in. It was quite an unexpected treat and we'll be going back for that among other things. Finally the service was superb. We were delighted with the service, advice and colorful comments from our wait person, Anna. We highly recommend this Greek restaurant above others we been to in Baltimore. Bon Appetite.

Outstanding as always. Our waitress was amazing and all of the staff checked in with us throughout our meal, making us feel super special. We had family come late and the were very accommodating and made there meal just as special as our parties.

Wow. My wife and I went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. We had a reservation but arrived early and were seated no problem. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. We both got a glass of Cretan wine, an appetizer each and an entree each. Our pre-tip total was less than $100! We also both had leftovers — so we basically paid about $25 per person per meal. This place has authentic Greek flavors. We honeymooned in Crete and have been searching for someplace local that captures the freshness and vibrancy of the food — Plaka certainly does.
