Wonderfully comfortable, welcoming place. Enjoyed it on a trip from the west coast!

Very laid back and dark environment with delicious craft cocktails downstairs and hot sake upstairs. The dill Martini was out of this world!

I love this wine and sake bar in Remington. From the ambient lighting to the modern decor this is a great spot for pre- post- dinner drinks. There's also Chachi's on site for food. I've been coming here since 2019 and it's always a solid spot. They do include a 20% service fee for all orders. On this occasion, I came to their Gut High wine tasting event. It was so spectacular - from local to international natural wines. It's definitely a hipster cool spot in the city!

The atmosphere and service were really great. It's relaxed and the outdoor space is casual and communal. There is a pleasantly interesting beer selection and craftily made cocktails. I look forward to my visit.

Getting kind of boring and grungy. Wish it would decide whether it's fancy or welcoming. Drinks, wine, sake have become consistently stingy without being exotic or interesting. The aesthetics are still nice, but growing stale and cheap looking. Staff is always good and lovely.

I'm revising my review, after visiting last night for the Good Love Bar reunion. I haven't seen some of these people for twenty or more years, and they were all great. Now comes what's not so great...Your people are awful. I bought a bottle of wine for $48, and you automatically added gratuity (w/ tax = $62.50)--DUMB. Furthermore, it took the bartenders 30-plus-minutes to print my check, so we leave the bar debacle to socialize with our friends for a few minutes, and your bartender throws the rest of our wine away. We bring this to their attention and they look at us like we're lying.*** NEWS FLASH ***THE WINE SUCKED, AND WE'RE JUST SUPPORTING YOUR SMALL BUSINESS (exactly the way we supported your spot when I lived in the area). Nevertheless, your bartenders, who clearly srewed-up, offer to give us an already opened bottle of the same wine, which we reluctantly accepted.I reopen a tab to cover some drinks for any friends that we meet. Drinks were ordered. Check was asked for; still yet, we still have half of the wine left in the "new/old" bottle.I asked the bartenders if they could put the wine-saver stopper back in the bottle for us. I offer to pay $5 for the stopper, and to pay a 125% tip on a $35 check. I just need my problem solved, and I like to solve problems (whenever possible) with generosity. The bartenders gave me a dirty cork off of the bar, and said they couldn't accommodate us because it's not their bar. This is so bad that I have never heard my partner, since 2014, say the words "DON'T TIP THEM!!!"

Upstairs tavern is perfect for a date night! And the rosemary spritz is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Love that they’re directly connected to Chachi’s and you can just grab food from there to eat. Service was great, ambiance was better. Will be back!

Love the outdoor seating, all year round. Great place to get a natural wine or seasonal cocktail and snacks.

I am real critical of most places that try to be what Fadensonnen is but I love this place. The selection is diverse, there are three sitting areas, and two bars to chose from. Its a great place just to meet up with friends and relax. Thanks for offering a sake section as well.

After just two visits, this is in contention to make my personal top 5 places to drink in the world list. It’s like a more refined, adult-oriented Zeitgeist in SF (#2 on my list). Outdoor seating, top quality beverages, creative design and customers, great servers, and the food from the resto that shares the courtyard was perfect too.

What a unique and fabulous space! We came here for pre-dinner drinks on a Friday and got a table no problem. I ordered the Stoned Medusa, a spritz with strong flavors of tamarind - neither too sweet nor bitter. I was most taken about by the lovely space - outdoor tent, a dark and romantic first floor bar, and an airy and spacious upstairs bar with plenty of seating. Since I'm visiting from NYC, this bar struck me compared to other cool cocktails bars because of the uniqueness of the space; something you don't often see in a larger city!

Pros: cocktails, outdoor seating, self serviceCons: food ok, crowdedI'd probably try other places nearby or come here on a less busy day!
