We enjoy Forno whenever we come to Baltimore, for it's casual atmosphere, servers in various "get-ups", and your location. Last evening was slightly disappointing: 1. $46 for a routine bottle of wine is a bit much, and I did not find any lower prices on the menu. 2. The pizza crust was very "chewy" and soft, instead of thinner and crisp.
This was our 2nd time at Forno. We loved it the first time so we wanted to return. Unfortunately this visit was not as good. The hostess made us uncomfortable. She was not wearing a bra and her bosoms were hanging out of her yellow plaid shirt. It was not appropriate for a restaurant setting and was off putting. Our waiter was not very knowledgeable and some items on the menu were not available. Then he accidentally charged someone else's bill to my card. Overall it just...
The food and drinks were good and service was great. Staff were personable and very helpful with recommendations and the knowledge that we were heading to the Hippodrome matinee next.
