Francois' was the right place for us to try Haitian cuisine for the first time.
We ordered:
2 Fried Goat entrees each with a side of banan peze/tostones (double fried green plantain that's flattened in between both frying periods)
1 side of Haitian mac & cheese
1 entree had white rice the other had diri dion djon (black mushroom rice but with the physical mushrooms later removed after it's done cooking and lending its dark color to the dish-hopefully I'm remembering...read full review
I had the veggie stew, black rich and plaintain. All were very well seasoned. A nice portion. Very clean.Very pleasant attitudes. I wish them well.
