Heard about this place from a TikTok video. My wife and I always lament that there are no good basic pizza places left in the area. We like fancy joints but sometimes we want just regular comfort pizza. This place totally hits the spot. On my second visit I asked for it well done and it was perfect, just what I wanted. I can see Gil's becoming a staple for us.
The customer service was good however the pizza was soggy. The person making the pizza did no wear gloves. Although that is not an issue for me, i didn't see him wash his hands before preparing it(I wasn't paying any attention either). Other people love it but it wasn't to my liking
Love Gil's Pizza! I've been getting pizza from there for almost 50 years. I don't think much has changed in that time. It's a different owner, who is very friendly, and some plexiglass was put up but it still taste like the same pizza from when I was a kid. I hope it never changes.
